We enjoyed our first night so much eating Malakoffs and delicious Cheese Fondue washed down with Chasselar that we returned the following night eating Cote De Boeuf and Schnitzels. We were very well looked after by Matt and can’t wait to return during the winter season. We now know where to eat on New Year’s Eve. cheers Jon, Jeanette, Steve and Sarah 🧀🥩🍷🇨🇭

Very good time in this restaurant. The owner is very friendly and the dishes are of high quality with very good products. Discovery of Malakoff as an aperitif, a delight.nSwiss fondue for us, very hearty with +++ creaminess. A first experience for us who only knew Savoyard fondue. The children's menus were very nice plates of fries, mashed potatoes and beef. All finely presented. Well done to the chef 👏 The desserts were also delicious.
Inside, we are in cocooning mode at the chalet, we love it ❤️

It is an insult to a lot of restaurants in les Gets that this place is #1 in town. Looking more closely to the reviews, the question arises if a lot of them are fake.
The service is very pushy and overly jovial, the maitre thinks he is the star of the restaurant. The menu is quite small and you expext then that all the dishes are spot on. The starter "Malakoff" is a fried cheeseball. It is not bad but didn't blow me off my socks. For the main course you can decide between cheese fondue or steak. we tried the steak. My and others steakys were apparently Australian Waygu. I have tasted Waygu in the past, but this could have been just the average Carrefour steak cooked a little bit too long. The Steak came with cold soggy fries and cold cauliflower. The dessert was artisan icecream, which came in a paper cup straight from the supermarket,
I am sorry but I would not recommend this restaurant.

We have had two very different experiences here. In Feb 2022 we loved this restaurant, and had a lovely meal with great service, though expensive. This year we were really looking forward to returning, however, the meal could not have been more different. The children’s meals came very quickly alongside a salad for the adults, and were very tasty, though too small for teenagers - our fault for not ordering the adult meals for them. The adult dishes we ordered came quickly as well, but without accompaniments. Our waiter promised to return with side orders, but eventually I had to go and look for him and ask for them. Only one portion of fries was produced, by which time our steaks were mostly finished and my pork was cold. The steaks are really tasty, but definitely the meal was overpriced. The small veg on the plates served with the steak were overcooked to point of slushiness. My pork was very tasty, but was tough as old boots (and, of course, cold by the time the fries came!). I would also have loved another glass of wine, but despite developing a crick in my neck trying to catch a waiter’s attention, no one came near us or even asked if we would like another drink. I think it was obvious to the staff that they were not looking after our table and when two of us made a fast exit in order to try to catch a crepe van to supplement the cold, meagre meal we had eaten, they could at least have asked the question if everything was ok! Would definitely not recommend and will definitely not return here - don’t waste your money!

The signature dish, the Malakoff, is unusual and delicious. The menu was limited, but great for beef lovers (no chicken!). The angus steak was excellent. Lemon sorbet was fine. The fondue was really good
Service was prompt and informative. My wife felt the place was more like a bar with restuarant as an afterthought.
The Christmas beer was excellent :)

Visited this great restaurant on the last night of our skiing holiday. The place was busy and the atmosphere was really fun. Honestly had the BEST most delicious fondue I have EVER tasted here - served with bread, potatoes and salad, I also had the charcuterie for good measure. Also they offered a single portion so I didn’t have to share it with anyone!!! Other family members had onglet steak and chips which was also excellent. Generous portion sizes. Fantastic selection of wines, also sold by the glass. All in all a brilliant evening and a really fun end to our week in Les Gets. Thoroughly recommended.

There were 6 of us, we chose the meats and malakoffs.
The cooking was really despised and really tasty quality meats with a morel sauce hummmm the plate was very colorful and very well presented. Our friends asked for more malakoff they found it to be killer

A bunch of furious looking for a port to dock... we found our Canteen!!! A more than perfect welcome, the service is at the top, the boss is just exceptionally cheerful! What more can I ask for to have a great evening? Don’t miss out on this timeless place for this beautiful welcome and small onion catering.

Very friendly, family-run place with excellent hospitality and staff. Perfect meal! We ate salmon gravlax, fondue, malakoff, picanha, pata negra fish and chips, everything was good! We have to go!

Family evening with my children and grandchildren.
What a beautiful discovery!!! We didn't know about malakoffs: just succulent. Malakoff burgers: a kill. Morel fondue: I've never seen so many morels in a fondue. Riceotto with girolles like that. Everybody enjoyed it.
The welcome is very warm, friendly atmosphere! Max is taking care of us. Thanks to its spontaneity it makes us feel like home. As soon as the opportunity arises, we will return to Malakoff.

The was quite an unexpected surprise. Great welcome from the restaurant owner. Very generous refill. And wonderful fondue. Maybe one of the best i had so far. Extremely light and tasty. Together with a lovely local white wine. And the restaurant specialty. The Malakoff. Fried cheese balls. To be tested !! Very happy with our stop there !!

We were five friends, all won over. Malakoff as a starter, a very nice discovery, Swiss fondue as a main course and Angus both excellent, brioche with salted butter caramel and two… Irish! Suggestion of a very good wine. Good humor and humor guaranteed. To recommend.
