Great choice for traditional French food

This is is the place for traditional French food in Les Gets, if you are not too much into cheese-based and raclette dishes. The chef is definitely passionate abt the ingredients and the way the dishes are put together - thoughtful and creative. Lovely cosy ambience. Nice friendly staff. Booking a day or two in advance is recommended.

The best risotto I can remember having!!!

What a gorgeous little Alpine restaurant! Run by a young couple who are utterly charming and decorated in a traditional alpine manner with pine tables and walls. I was recommended to have the scallop risotto with a langoustine bisque and it I think it was the most delicious risotto I have ever had. We paired our meal with a local Savoyard wine and the whole experience was totally authentic, a perfect evening out after a lovely day on the slopes. I would wholeheartedly recommend La R'mize to anyone who enjoys good French Alpine food. A wonderful experience.

Just wow both food and service!

Amazing food, looked and tasted amazing, service also great, attentive and helpful with additional little details making everything extra special. Lovely feel inside, calm, relaxed, a lovely atmosphere for dinner. Very impressed would definitely recommend.

The best of the four or five restaurants I visited on my Holidays. And almost the only one I could scape from fondues, raclettes, and the oficial savoyarde menu, which is very attractive the first day, may be the second, but after that you need something else. Great service, profesional and familiar at the same time. Congratulations from Spain

Amazing Experience

Wow,best place Le Gets by a mile.Five of us went for dinner on our last night in the area from the time you walk through the door it’s a wonderful e experience. Started with some Foie Gras as a starter with an excellent glass of sweet wine,followed by Risotto and Pea Soup.Main courses Lamb and the fish of the day with goats cheese dish to share. Every dish was beautifully presented ,full of flavour. Had some reasonably priced white and red wine. Great deserts,we could not manage any cheese to follow. Superbly served by an English lady who now lives in the area and although the food was superb very reasonably priced Made our day after some miserable weather.

Wonderful Restaurant - pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, friendly staff and superb food! A very popular restaurant in Les Gets, booking highly recommended, suitable for all, families and couples. Friendly staff very knowledgeable of the menu and make great recommendations for both food and wine choices. Presentation of meals is just beautiful and tastes even better than they look! Can’t recommend this restaurant enough, prices are very reasonable too!

First of all Excellent service, the English waitress Belinda is adorable, smiling, with a very British humor! and very professional, the same for the Boss, smile, humor and very professional! And then what can we say about the cooking except that we enjoy it every time. Fresh products, home cooking, tasty and light fondue, their risotto is to die for, and then special mention for the hot chocolate mousse, yogurt ice cream, and their rum baba, well done and thank you to the cooks for their work. We highly recommend this restaurant. See you next year.. maybe ☺️

Lovely restaurant in the old town serving traditional Savoyard food. If you want a great fondu or tartiflette you can’t go wrong. Risotto also delicious. For me the starter and pudding menu is weak. You will need to book.

Amazing meal

Amazing food in here, best in resort in our opinion. This is a fine dining restaurant and everything we had (6 of us) was amazing. I can highly recommend the risotto (scallop one and the veggie one) and the chicken stuffed with cognac. The special chocolate desert was also fantastic. We will be back for sure. Note: no pizzas, chips or burgers here, so check menu before coming with fussy eaters/children.

Great address in Gets

What a great discovery this restaurant is in Gets, the decoration of the restaurant and the space between the tables is top notch. The waiter is kind and gives good advice, thanks to him for the service. The dishes were delicious, the Savoyard fondue the best we have eaten. Everything was perfect from start to finish. A very good address in Gets to do during your stay. We will return without hesitation.

A real delight these tender little perch fillets accompanied by shot potatoes. And if you still have a little hunger after this hearty dish, the pie tatin makes you an eye. 😉Even for a weekday dinner, off season, it is advisable to book.

Absolutely amazing

We ate here about 10 years ago and it was ok but we hadn’t been back because we stay at the other end of town. However we went back this week and it was outstanding. We will definitely make it an annual fixture. The staff were really friendly and helpful with the menu. The menu offers decent choice and every course was amazing. I had escargots (delicious) followed by the scallop risotto (incredible) and finished with the genepi ice cream (wow). It has a great atmosphere and it was notable that a lot of locals were eating there (I assume they were locals as they had their dogs with them!!). We will be looking forward to eating there again next year. (La moutarde anglaise est meilleure!!!)

Best restaurant in Les Gets

La R'mize is our favorite place in Les Gets. It is the best restaurant here. I really like this small, pretty place. It is close to the church. I really like the Filets de Peches (perch fillets). Unlike other places, it is not unpleasantly loud even when the place is full. The manager is really nice and always smartly dressed. We like the wine list and the food too. The rest of the staff are also very friendly, cheerful, attentive and competent. It is important to reserve a table in advance as the place is very popular. The prices are very reasonable and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right.

Restaurant already visited in 2022. Back to taste the crispy veal rice for me, the Abondance cheese risotto with scallop carpaccio for my wife. Excellent starters and desserts. Pleasant welcome.
