This restaurant is in the midst of several restaurants catering to tourists with comparable menus. Three of us ate there and nothing was good. The wine was overly fruity, bordering on being cider. Table service was terrible even for France. We had three different entrees and 3 different plats. All of the dishes weren't good. The fish was obviously frozen... More

So nice, we went there twice as a family. Serves all the local wines. Excellent fish (dorade/sea bream). I recommend the peppers with anchoiade as a starter.

Great little cosy restaurant just off the port of Cassis. Genuine staff, authentic food. We took the menu at 32€ which is absolutely great value for the amount of food you get and the great quality!

For whatever reason, nothing stood out in the usual reviews and searches whilst I tried to find that elusive 'hidden gem' for a Saturday night dinner in cassis. Having walked the main drag (and some of the back streets), nothing and nowhere seemed truly inspiring. And then we found L'escalier, tucked away in an alleyway, just behind all of those... More

Great little restaurant that was actually recommend to us by Le Passage who could not take a booking for eight of us. We sat outside in the street (see photos) and had 2 courses a main and a dessert. The food was excellent the service was friendly and I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.

We have enjoyed this family run restaurant for many years. Food and service is excellent. The "propotition du chef" is always a winner. Highly recommended.

We took the advice from TripAdvisor and stopped here after long day walking at tbe Calanques to Port Miou as well as in the harbor area. Easily found in quiet side street. Waitstaff very polite and friendly, willing to try to bridge language barrier for non-French speakers. The meal was sumptuous, a true delight, comparable to Parisian fare at much... More
