My boyfriend and I enjoyed a dinner at Le Duguesclin. We had reserved a table and we were seated as soon as we got there. The view was gorgeous because if you reserve a table, you get seated with a water view and we were...eating as the tide came in. We got the fixed menu. I got the cider mussels, lamb and crème brûlée. The food was very good, except for the mussels, which weren't very flavorful. I would recommend a different sauce.More

After a two hour tour we were keen on having a good lunch but were disappointed. The place is fine, the staff was nice to us but the food was pretty average and expensive. The oysters were okay I guess, but quite skinny. Mussels were...lacking flavor, there was no onions nor thyme or any herb in the broth. The French fries were soft and oily and really tasty. A very expensive bill for some poor quality meal.More

(Ce n'est pas vrai qu'on mange mal au Mont-St-Michel - Je vais switcher en Anglais pour une plus grande audience). It is not true that one eats badly in Mont-St-Michel. This place had fantastic seafood and amazing lamb chops. Don't be fooled by the lamb...chops "so-so" look on the plate; the taste is heavenly, and that's what counts. Get a nice bottle of cider with it, et voila!More

My wife, along with two friends, and I enjoyed a very special dinner at Le Duguesclin. We had reserved a table and we were seated as soon as we got there. Our waitress was attentive but no overbearing. The wine selections were very good and...our food was excellent. The view as the tide came in was special and by the end of our meal the sunset was specular. Overall a delightful evening.More

We stayed on the island for two evenings and had made window reservations for a sea view. Our table was perfect ! White table clothes and a gorgeous view ! Our meal was absolutely divine and everyone enjoyed their meal immensely. We drank wine and...enjoyed our evening very much without feeling rushed even though they were very busy. Our service was very friendly and accomidating. We didn't stay at this hotel, but after being treated so well, I wish we would have. I would absolutely recommend this dining experience. Merci Bouchoup !More

I certainly cannot recommend this restaurant. Had it just been the sadly old fashioned interior (and not all that clean!) or the sanctimonious attitude of the waiters - I would have made small allowances. But a salad with black-edged (i.e. rotting) lettuce on my dinner...plate along with frozen American-style french fries - served with a gigot d'agneau salé (2 nice slices of lamb leg) and flageolets (the classic bean for this meal) - made me loose my patience. However when we were served the cold-from-the-refrigerator desserts and there was a fruit fly clearly embedded in the custard (which was summarily returned to the waiter) and we received no apology or any suggestion of recompense - that completed my reason for this terrible review. I recommend to all readers to vote with your feet and stay away from this restaurant.More

I like good food and this definitely was not. Maybe it’s also about the choice but still.. I paid 30€ for steak which was dry, bread which I asked for was about the same story and I got oily French fries which I didn’t even...want. Wine was fine for we are in France of course. Restaurant which lives only because of “American” tourists and not because of quality..More

Don’t like omelet soufflé, for someone who likes this, should be a good choix.

We were in the brasserie on the ground floor and I wouldn‘t recommend it at all. The service was unfriendly, the food was made with poor quality ingredients, the place was loud and uncomfortable and with no view! I suppose the better ratings come from...the visitors of the restaurant which seems to be a bit nicer and it has a panoramic view on the bay.More
