The highlight of my visit, oddly enough, was watching the cooks beat the egg batter for their famous omelette. Somehow they create a rhythmic sound so unique that at first I was convinced that there was a hidden speaker. It was quite entertaining and, I...suspect, why the omelets are so fluffy. Unfortunately I’m not a fan of runny omelets and they do not accept requests such as “well done,” so the food wasn’t to my liking. The espresso had a burnt taste, and the service was acceptable. They have a sign in the window that says “Michelin,” but on closer inspecting there is a picture of the Michelin tire man, not the Michelin stars one expects of food establishment. We were sent here for breakfast from our hotel. There were several sparrows fluttering around the restaurant, pecking at the breakfast buffet, leaving droppings everywhere. The staff didn’t seem at all concerned. It was utterly revolting.

We went there for the reputation and we were very disappointed. The price 30 euros is too expensive for an omelette and it was not even delicious. I wrote this just to warn other people to avoid this restaurant and don't spend over 100 euros...and had a bad experience like us.More

The restaurant presents itself as the most iconic place in Mont Saint Michel and it has even its own brand to gain more money. But it’s all smoke. The host was very rude and she said that she could not take reservations for dinner and...to go there and wait for a table. We did so but when we came back she told us that the restaurant was fully booked (??). We asked why sha changed her mind but she didn’t answer and laught in front of us. She was very unrespectful and really unprofessional. Moreover no anticovid procedure respected at all and the place looked very very dirty. Don’t go there!More

This is one of the worst experience I encountered. The lady welcoming is literally barking on us. The waiter takes ages to take the order. Overall the service is better in a fast-food. Food is ok but so overpriced. 125 euros for 2 kids and...2 adults. We tried. We are going to advertise our experience.More

Restaurant is supposed to propose the menu until 3:00pm but after 2:30pm forget about it. Workers are leaving for their break. No continuity in the service. You will only have 2 choices. You leave the place and you come back at 6pm or you take...what is available a 2 choices menu at approximately 10€ per eggs 😅 People can wait 30min or 1h even if some table are available at the ground floor and first floor is totally empty. It was the fourth time that we went to “le Mont Saint Michel” but the first time that we went to this restaurant, we expected to have a good diner. We took the famous omelette in reality there is almost no choice for anything else....When it was served the waitress said: be careful the plate is very hot. The plate was indeed very hot but not the omelette neither the potatoes, they were almost cold. The bacon was not cooked at all and cut in large pieces with a lot of fat. We were not the only one who had this problem the table next to us sent everything back to the kitchen. The wine we had chosen was not available but the waiter said that he had something very similar but he didn’t say that the price was much higher. Finally, one of the four men “working” in the kitchen was noy wearing a mask, he put it on when I looked at him! We should have consulted Tripadvisor before entering this place!More
