This restaurant is well situated being very close to the station and not far from the centre of Arras. We had an excellent dinner with some good red Loire wine. The waiter was inclined towards casual but we didn't have to wait long for our meal. We liked the place so came back for breakfast the next morning, The petit... More

Restaurant Le Passé Temps is centrally located place overlooking Marshall Foch Square and the war memorial. Plenty of tables inside and outside. Service was a little slow but it was extremely busy and popular. The food when it came was very nice and reasonably priced. Good selection on the menu both French and European. Visited this restaurant on several nights.

Lovely food, wine and beer and good value for money. Very friendly staff and proprietor (guests were given a free glass of bubbly on our February 2016 visit). Very convenient for the Holiday Inn Express (which is a useful and popular overnight stop for people travelling to and from Eurotunnel). We really look forward to visiting Le Passe Temps each... We had modest expectations when we dropped in for a casual dinner but were very pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and helpful. We were offered a free champagne which was a nice and welcomed touch. I tried the local delicacy known as Andouille which are sausages made from chitterlings (when in France...!). It was delicious, as was my wife's... More

We went here on a rainy Monday afternoon in Arras. Most restaurants were shut and to be honest we would probably have chosen elsewhere if they had been open. So glad they were. This restaurant is more of a traditional French bar though an English menu is available. Decor is very traditional as is the food. All was well cooked... More

We didn't know where to eat and saw that there were quite a few people eating here so went in. The place is spotless. Gleaming in fact! Check out all the glass behind the bar! This is also a hotel but we had booked elsewhere. The food was good, reasobaly priced and service was great. Staff were very friendly. Recommended!

After an excellent and economic lunch, we returned a day later for dinner which taxed our wallets a little more but with similar standards to the first encounter. Plenty of locals surrounded the eight of us. Stak tartare was the best of three sampled in arras.

Don't normally use restaurants that have menus especially printed in English for tourists but thought I would try this one as it looked busy with locals. Glad I did - excellent menu, speedy service, and really good food. Lamb for my wife and duck for me - delicious, and superb ice cream to finish. With a large carafe of red... More
