This was without doubt the nicest food that I ate in France. Arrived just before they were closing the kitchen. They stayed open just for us and the food was fantastic. The service was great. It is so nice when you're all tired to be served with a smile by helpful peopĺe that make you feel as if you really... More

We expected a rather grim tour of the submarine "Flore" and its museum and were delighted by the presentation and the clever technology we used. Great for older children and reasonably mobile adults. Good facilities adjacent and a superb children's' play area adjacent for them to let off steam post-visit.

This is the obvious place to eat while visiting the various attractions at the Lorient submarine and yachting base. The service was quick and the food was good.

Along with 4 other equally massive U boat bunker bases, hundreds of Allied attacks by air failed to even slightly damage the sub pens, resulting from the ingenious 7 - layer roof system to protect against penetrating explosions. Not to be missed. For advance preparation go to historyarticles.com.

We arrived at 1 and managed to book a table for 30 minutes later. Great restaurant with big windows over looking the boats. Big long benches or high tables. Lovely food - scallop, duck, chicken skewers, salads. I will definately go back but will ring in advance to book.

Nice place to eat at when visiting the WWII Keroman bunker. It has a good view of the bay and outdoor seating.

Eating brochettes on the terrace in the early October sun, surrounded by sailing types and overlooking the Cite de la Voile and the yachts in the estuary - what could possibly be better?

Lunched here while waiting for tour round K3 base. Food nice although wasn't so sure about the addition of sultanas to a Caesar salad. Made for an interesting flavour. Daughter's gambas were v tasty she told me. Gets busy at lunchtime with workers from the sailing bases nearby so be prepared to perch and eat on the bar if you... More

This is a good bar very handy for the various attractions around the Cité Eric Tabarly. But it gets very busy, especially on Monday lunchtimes when the neighbouring restaurant closes for lunch. Menu is brief but the food is good, well cooked and quick. Service is good, but be prepared for a bit of a wait for a table when... More
