Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An adorable little restaurant directed with passion and precision by Mickael Lasserre. My niece had a delicious plateau of cheeses and charcuterie. I had a SAVOURY clafoutis -- a new concept to me. We arrived somewhat earlier than usual for lunch, but before we knew...it, the place was full of contented customers. It is a delicatessen too. Great Job and thank you for welcoming us so warmly. We hadn't mean to eat at all. We just stopped to ask the way. But then... we fell under the charm of owner and scenario.More

Friendly and helpful; explained the menu for us, which at 14euro per person for two courses and a drink was great value. I had a platter with meat and cheeses with all the cheeses described for me too! Desserts were lovely. All the meals were...great. We walked in with no reservation at midday, but it was soon very busy.More

Stunning food and service. Great for the family. Owner even explained the origin of the cheese to the kids. Would eat there again tomorrow if I could. Wow!

While travelling and staying in Sarlat la Caneda, our rental car broke down, and it turned out it needed a new battery. While waiting for the work to be done, we walked up the street and enjoyed a lovely glass of wine and plat du...fromage. So many different cheeses, and all so delicious. The owner/server was delightful as well, and told us about each cheese. A very well earned repast during an otherwise not good “adventure “.More

We arrived all five of us very hungry having parked in the Rigaudie car park. Excellent-value set lunch (drink, main, pudding), with home-made dishes featuring artisanal cheese, vegetables, fruit and charcuterie. We ate every scrap and left very happy.

The plat de jour was delicious and filling. Feta and leek tart was fantastic, as was the apple rhubarb crumble. Definitely make a reservation.

End of day, easy going drink on the curb. Astonishing selection of cheese and ham. Away from the goose crap. Clean restroom. Friendly staff.

Visited on the strength of Trip Advisor score and we weren’t disappointed. Vegetarian lasagne, vegetarian tart and croque monsieur all very good. With dessert and a drink €13. Good value and good food.

Very nice place to take a small break and try some local cheese and wine. The service was very friendly. We had two plates with a variety of cheese from all over the country. The owner told us where each one comes from and suggested...local wine that fits. We really enjoyed and would definitely recomend!More

We loved this place, enjoyed delicious food and great service. I had the baked camembert with a yummy potato and salad. My husband had the roasted vegetable quiche. SO good! The owner also treated us to some little tastes of other cheeses. I wish I...lived nearby so I could visit all the time.More

Nice place for a simple quick lunch around cheese with possibility to purchase good regional cheeses to take home. Very friendly service but quite some waiting time even for simple food as the place was very crowded. Highly recommended to make a reservation.
