Driving through for the day and we were hungry late by Italy standards (2 p.m.) We were lucky to find this place still open. It was very crowded for a Sunday - a huge table of a family having a party. For lunch, you are...left with a few options for the day - if you cannot speak Italian, I wouldn't go here! My friends and I enjoyed the local specialties - one had sausage cooked with a flaky crust, i had potato soup and a delicious treat of a tower of pastries with meat and a cheese sauce. Highly recommend the mela torte - their version of apple pie...lots of cinnamon - one of the best desserts I've had in Italy and makes American pie go to shame!More
