A typical Tuscan trattoria, not particularly impressive going in, you are somehow projected in the Seventies. Service is friendly and attentive and, In my case, carried out directly by a gentleman whom I assume is the owner. Food is excellent. Really. Unsophisticated, philologically faithful, perfect, high-quality Tuscan cuisine. To the point that, in spite of the fact that I was... More

A family owned traditional trattoria far from the tourist hype, really worth a stop. If you want to try authentic tuscan food then this place is for you. Don't judge the book by its cover and sit for a meal, the owners are very friendly and took great care of us! Definitely recommend !

We saw this place on the way out of town, and hoped it was non-touristy, which it was, although the next table over was full of Ozzies, so it must be in a guidebook somewhere. Food was very good, especially the chocolate dessert. Full lunch about 25 euros per person, including wine.

Just visited the restaurant yesterday. The place is a typical Tuscan "trattoria". The quality of the food is very good, as the service, the waiter was kind and fast. They have a great menu and also some special day dishes. Ask the waiter the day selection! We taste the "frittura mista" and it was fantastic! Prices are ok, we spent... More

No long review, just go there to experience the most genuine seasonal tuscan cuisine : fried zucchini flowers, home made pastas, wild boar, hare etc all lovingly and expertly prepared with friendly and attentive staff. Good value for $ !!

We had the most amazing meal and the service was outstanding. We were there with local that knew the owner and menu. He ordered and the food was incredible. This place is a must if you are near Volterra.

The place is local and has a great ambience. The waiter was the best, I'm vegetarian and he made a really nice vegetarian local option, which I thought was not possible. Vey nice place, food and service.
