Tiny but really good food, I loved it! The bad thing is you have to book 1 or 2 weeks in advance if you want to go on a weekend. It's worthwhile the wait though.

Within the ancient heart of Varese there is e pearl of food and wine. The discrete ambient with a brilliant waiter will amaze you surely enjoy!
We went with friends on a rainy evening and the warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately make us feel comfortable. The was exceptionally friendly and able to suggest according to our tastes. Food was excellent and the wine list as well. Ambience is small (it's recommended to reserve a table in advance) but not noisy and it's pleasant for chatting with... More

Went with family for dinner. Small restaurant in the old part of Varese. Super friendly service and menu deviates from usual northern Italian fare. Delicious prawn tartare, followed by large fusili with duck ragu-sublime. Pigeon breast with rhubarb sauce was delicious. My son declared the steak was the best he'd ever had. No room for dolce!!! Will return.
Good food and good personal service. It is however a good idea to ask prices of specials before you order the; we were quite surprised to find out the price of the lobster, which was very good by the way but also not cheap. But, a good place to have dinner.
A enjoyable lunch in a cosy, intimate restaurant with friendly staff. Three home-made courses (pasta dish, main course & dessert), plus water, two glasses of prosecco and 1/2 litre of wine for 22.50 Euros per person.
