Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had lunch here on our way to Bagno di Romagna. I called to book but Kristina told me it was not going to be difficult to be seated for lunch on Monday. We arrived at 12:30 as planned and parked in the very convenient...parking just across the road. We chose an outside table in a nice shade. My wife and I shared a very generous appetizer serving with ham, salami, grilled eggplant and zucchini, melon, beans and much more. Then we opted for tagliatelle al ragù bianco and pici al fumo, both very good and in very large servings. Some local red wine (merlot) and a delicious watermelon completed the meal. Service was reasonably fast, quite a few guests arrived in the meantime, and always very friendly. I chose this place also because it was open on Monday but I am very happy with my choice. We had a wonderful meal there tonight. Every dish, ravioli with gorgonzola and pistachio, pasta with mushrooms, and steak Florentine was delicious. We also had grilled vegetables and side salads. We have been in Tuscany for 10 days and it was one of the best...meals we had. Service was very friendly and efficient. You won't be sorry you stopped in.More

I had a very disparate experience in this place. The waitress brought out a plate of bread - free but stale. My partner had a truly delicious wild boar pasta dish, which was also well priced. I had some ravioli chianti - which was made...using normal rice, not risotto rice. It was sloppily made and expensive for what it was. On top of this slight hiccup, we were charged 2 euro per person service fee which was just added on to our bill under 'bar.' This place feeds on tourism. It's open during the hours (3 to 6 pm) which most local restaurants close during the day.More

Very good food, I would recommend the ravioli. The outdoor area is not the best, tabels can easily tip over, but the service and menu is good.

My wife and I had 2 great meals here during our short stay in Sansepolcro . The host was very friendly and very helpful indeed and he spent a lot of time helping us with the menu on recommending particular dishes. We were not disappointed...with his recommendations and my wife had the steak on stones on both occasions which were excellent. Both red and white house wines were very nice and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed our visit so much that we recommended it to my daughter and her husband and friends who also visited and had a great meal too. My wife and I also went back a third time on our last night but the host was away for the evening and his sister was the hostess. She too was very friendly but we were very disappointed in that the steak meal was less than half the size of our first two visits and yet we were still charged the same price. The price was not the issue it was just disappointing not to experience what we had been so much looking forward to one more time especially on our last night. Would recommend a visit based on our first two meals but not on the basis of the third visit which if it hadn't happen we would return again and again.More

Waitress didn't rush my poor Italian. Bread came with olive oil and salt, and a taste of Proseco. Vegetarian dishes were good.

Have eaten here every year for the past 5 years. The food never disappoints. Staff always extremely friendly and reliably recommend local specialties . The pasta choices are delicious and served in frying pans ! They also have a good selection of local wine at...very reasonable prices . The only thing that could possibly be changed would be not to have 3 televisions on when eating inside .More

Traditional and modern selections from a big menu. Prices reasonable. Owner Maurizio is thoroughly pleasant and accommodating. Wait staff wonderful. You must try his self-proclaimed "unbelievable" apple pie and ice cream. Noteworthy! We have eaten there twice and are returning, notwithstanding that we'll be 40kms...away.More

This is a fantastic little authentic Italian restaurant that offers customers a broad selection of meals cooked with love. The food is absolutely delicious and there are choices for all dietary needs. It is clear to see that the owner really takes pride in his...restaurant and you will also see many locals eating here (which is a good sign). The atmosphere is very charming and the service is both friendly and fast. We thoroughly enjoyed this dining experience and I would definitely come back again.More

This colorful bistro-like restaurant/café could be located anywhere in the world in a vibrant capital city or cosmopolitan spot, by its fusion/ethnic looks. However, it sits in the middle of Sansepolcro, conveniently near the bus and train station, which is great, and there is a...huge parking lot across the road, which is also a plus! The menu is so varied and both seasonal and also featuring off-the-menu specialties, which can be customized to satisfy specific tastes. For example my fiance and I are both vegetarians, and only eat fish, but no meat or cured meats. Not a problem here, despite being right in the heart of Tuscany/Umbria, where the traditional cuisine is mainly meat-based. Upon arrival we are welcomed by warm and professional staff, and the host/owner Maurizio is very friendly and helpful and kindly brings us two proseccos to start with accompanied by lovely fresh tuscan bread sizzled with new extra virgin olive oil and black pepper! That's such a nice detail and will keep us going until we go through the menu and decide what we want to enjoy! Next, Maurizio illustrates the menu and the specials of the day, and we decide. So we ask for the Antipasto del Pellegrino, which is a colorful and delicious starter platter containing bits and pieces of different specialties, like quiches, cheeses and jams, beans, panzanella and other traditional dishes tastes! I really really enjoy the minestrone soup, freshly handmade using locally grown vegetables! my fiance goes for tagliatelle with Porcini mushrooms, and that is also delicious. All accompanied by delicious Chianti red wine. The desert selection is to die for, and the home made ice cream is really good, to accompany the chocolate flour-less cake! Ask for a macchiato, and if you say yes to Bailey 'correction' (as they say here), expect fireworks!!! Truly fab, and at the weekend, after a certain time, they also have Karaoke!More

Lovely food and service - gnocchi with tartufo, pappardelle with pork and carpaccio. Only regret is that we didn't have time for pudding. Generous portions and welcoming waiter! Will visit again.

Wonderful fillet steaks preceded by starter of mixed meats and cheeses. With decent bottle of chianti riserva, coffees and mineral water bill was 65 euros for 2 people. Very pleasant and attentive service.
