food (fish for me, spaghetti alle vongole for my wife) was very good as was the wine. Good, kind service, not at all a tourist trap. Nico's son speaks several languages. Prices very reasonable. Fish is on exhibit on ice. Will certainly return.

We stopped here for a meal mid afternoon, which may account for the quality of the food (they were the only place we found open but we hadn't eaten since 7.00). Anyhow, they proclaim fish is their speciality so we thought we go for that. Well things started to go awry when my wife said she wasn't that hungry so... More

I had fish of the day, sole, it was bathed in a horrible potatoe sauce, the worst dish I had on my 2 week holiday. :( Otherwise the service was good.

We ate here three times as the food was so good, the fish so fresh and the staff so helpful, attentive and friendly. Situated under an orange grove (though can be harmful when they fall on you!) in the lively square called Piazza Bresca. Not too expensive and am missing the luxury of the fresh fish. The local dish of... More

Had a quick late lunch and it was more than ok. We both had pasta (vongole/prawn) perfectly cooked. Good service but was late and few customers. Panna cotta for pudding was fine.

We chanced upon this restaurant in Sanremo, attracted by the location in a shady square and the very fresh fish on display at the entrance. We were welcomed by the staff, who were friendly and charming to everyone and very welcoming to our children. First, they brought excellent bread and complimentary bruschetta. Our kids shared a nice caprese salad, followed... More

Good Italian food and very well located in one of the most famous squares in Sanremo. You should ask for the shrimp pasta and the Dorada al forni. Service is very very slow... With service I mean the kitchen. Waiters are quick and eficient.

We chose to eat here as the prices looked very competitive compared to the surrounding restaurants. We were served by waiters who spoke fantastic English and were very friendly. I had the seafood risotto and my husband had spaghetti pomodoro. My seafood was really lovely, and even though my husbands had ordered what was essentially spaghetti with tomato sauce, it... More

I had a lovely meal here when on a solo holiday to France and Italy. I did not feel pushed out of site as some places do - giving the person on their own the worst table. I was able to take my time and I ordered a lovely fish dish which was very tender. I also had a lovely... More
