Very nice food and wine. Antipasti, pasta vongole and chateaubriand where all very good. The dessert tops it all off! I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Best food in the whole week in Italy.

Had the best meal of a two week holiday at La Porchetta. Could happily have eaten any of the dishes leaving the kitchen. The seafood dishes were particularly good. Well worth the five minute wait for a table.

This place is renowned for its unique pizza. It has a deep pan pizza specializing in salumi on top. All items are placed on top of the pizza after it is baked. The service is good and gluten free pasta is available.

On arrival in Salso, it was late so I decided to revisit La Porchetta as I used to work here over 30 years ago. Back then the place was packed, but so was Salsomaggiore. Was recognised straight away from my old boss, Afro which was nice. Ordered a Pizza al Proscuitto Crudo with a beer and to be perfectly honest,... More

We had been walking for several kilometers before settling on this restaurant. Bright and eclectic décor. Food was pricy at best. Menu did not state the coperto price (€3 per person). You could easily exceed €50 per person if you had a full meal. Food was of average (not great) quality and did not taste fresh.

Went to this as it looked good from the outside. The clientele seemed to be generally wealthy people and Italian. We ordered Pizza, a whole fish, chips and grilled vegetables. We knew we had possibly made the wrong choice of restaurant when we couldn't understand the type of Pizza (we are part Italian) , the waitress explained that it was... More

Working in Fidenza but living in Belgium brings me a lot to this restaurant. Alone, with colleagues or customers. I have always eaten very well and have been well received from day 1. Variety of food and of course budget. Great pizzas, pastas, risottos. Equally good and fresh fish. The bistecca is also delicious. I have become a regular guest... More
