We went to Rivello on the bus so we could enjoy the fantastic views down to the coast and while we were there we thought we would have a drink in Bar Klingsor. We could have tried any of the many coffee/restraurants stops but this one looked good. The service was okay, although not brilliant, and the drinks small but... More

My wife and I were on a tour and we were staying at hotel about a 5 minute walk from the piazza in Ravello. We would walk into town in the evening and on 2 separate occasions , we stopped with friends at Bar Klingsor to enjoy their excellent gelato and sit outside in the warm evening and watch the... Stopped by for a light lunch and some relaxation on the Piazza in Revello. This is a great place to spend some time and watch the world go by. The menu is nothing special but the food was good. We both had sandwiches, some wine and beers. I would have rated this place better had the servers been a little... More

Lovely bar, not too expensive. Homemade Italian ice cream, snacks and drinks. Great setting on the main square. Covered when raining

After visiting the Villa Ruffolo for the stunning views we refreshed ourselves here. I was surprised at how small the single espresso was, especially as they were bigger elsewhere, though it was inexpensive. They also had a good selection of gelato and, as usual the lemon ice cream was lovely. It came with a second small cone for sharing. Nice.

The server growled at us when we gave the order for ice cream (€5/cone). When I paid the bill, the cashier threw the receipt and the pen to sign on the counter. When I thanked him, I got only a glare. Such a beautiful place with wonderful people all around, it's amazing they are able to stay in business. Even... More

Have cornetti and coffee every morning here became a bit of a ritual again on our second visit to Ravello. They are always so fresh and the limone cream are to die for - get there early though as they sell out quickly !

Average quality food, expensive. Tourist trap. Much better available elsewhere in Ravello square. Check out other reviews.

This is the first eating place you to see when entering the square. Walk right passed it and try one of the other bars. It took 1 hour at a quiet time to be served with something that did not resemble a Calzone in any way and there was no fruit salad with the fruit salad and ice cream. The... More

We loved Ravello and it's a traditional place, very autthentic. Unfortunately not in the restaurants - The Klingsor sells the usual tourist pizza and 50 ways to eat ham and cheese - rather dissapointing
