A nice beach taverna at the Praiano beach, which is located a small distance from the centre, in a lovely cove. The taverna is right on the beach, and the menu is good for a beach day lunch, which is what we went for. The food was good, I had a tasty pasta and the wife a sea food plate,... More

My wife and I had a lovely lunch at this wonderful beach side restaurant. After a hot walk around the coast, we rewarded ourselves with a well deserved Aperol spritz. We did need to remind the waiter for our large sparkling water but his genuine remorse for forgetting the order added to the charm. Both the spaghetti alla vongole and... More

Gorgeous views and super convenient to the beach. However, the chicken was very oily and overcooked, and it took 30 min. To get our bill. The gnocchi was delicious, as was the rocket salad. They also gave us someone else's food and seemed to have difficulty rectifying the mistake.

We ate lunch during a heavy rainstorm and they opened early to accommodate us. Octopus salad was great and Spaghetti was the best pasta that I have ever eaten at a restaurant

Alfonso A Mare is one of 4 different restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the Marina Praiano. This one probably has the prime location directly facing the waves with an inside and outside dining area so you can choose the ambience you are looking for. We were comfortable here, well looked after, the food was typical, the service faultless, prices... More

I did have a wonderful lunch yesterday but upon arriving this morning after a morning swim, I was rudely told the restaurant was for hotel guests only (looks like a real dump of a hotel) and made to sit outside even though I was paying for a cappuccino. I then got a hard time about using their wifi which I... More

We had the most fantastic experience at the Alfonso a Mare restaurant. We were met at the outside deck by Camillo who determined that not only could he accomodate our party of six but that we would have a special experience. We had wonderful appetizers, delicious fish and pasta and listened to the ocean waves while we ate. I highly... More

Amazing location but 10km to Positano and Amalfi and not that easy to get to either. Our room was 200 euros a night, had no windows and a door that opened into an alley way. Breakfast was ok but average. We left early and moved to Positano.

The service, the food and dining right on the little beach overlooking the Sea was the BEST! This little gem in Praiano was by far our favourite spot to hang out.

We had a swim at the beautiful little beach at Marina di Priaia - just in front of the restaurant... We asked one of the waiters (Camillo) to call us when a corner beach front table for 4 was available ... he did and OMG some of the best mussels, clams, red squid / octopus I have ever had were...
