A great spot for a quick caffe and pastry, some hot chocolate on a cold, rainy day, a glass of wine, a sandwich, or their signature soups. Don't miss this one, and if you have a little Italian language at your disposal, chat with the charming owners. Saturdays are iffy as to when they might open, so have a backup... More

One of the better coffe bars in town. Modern, yet welcoming. A great variety of fresh food, pastries and sweets to choose from. The coffee is fantastic. The owners is delighful, always ready to please, friendly, helpful, and willing to engage. There is a bustling morning and lunch crowd here, many locals as well as tourists and students. A few... Friendly, small and independent. A Wonderful lady could not do more. The simple menu was served up in good time as we enjoyed people watching. I had tagliatelle with mushroom with truffle oil delicious. The two orders of tomato cheese ravioli again simple but very tasty. The bruschetta had ample cheese tomato and ham. A local bottle of red for... More

Passing by the bigger terraces we came here for a quick coffee and some sweet pastries. The owner was very friendly and told us all about the local ones and then made us a great coffee. The small terrace out front is very quaint and offers excellent people watching possibilities.

Nice coffee shop centrally located in Montepulciano near a covered Piazza where you can get wifi. They serve lunch but we went every morning for coffee and a pastry to get our day started. Seems to be a real locals place. The people working there were friendly, gave us take away coffee.

While the vino Nobile and the lasagna were tasty, this establishment lacked any real customer service. From the start it felt like we, the customers, were an imposition on their day. The slap-dash attitude extended to spilling an entire glass of wine all over my new sandals and white top! Now I understand mistakes happen and I'm generally a forgiving... More

We have asked our host to suggest a place for a quick lunch. Our request for a recommendation was simple: just a traditional Tuscan café where we could refill our energy levels with a salad and pasta to enjoy with a inexpensive glass of wine, and away from the touristic trade. Our Villa host suggested Bar piazza delle erbe, his... More
