Spent an evening at Funi. It is situated next door to the cable car. We weren’t sure what to order, so decided to leave ask the waiter. We’re ended up with Gnocchi. It was delicious we had one with the tomato sauce and one with...the cheese sauce. Best meal in Montecatini. The wine was also a recommendation and was fabulous too. I would buy some back in the UK if I could find it locally. Definitely recommend eating here.More

Loved this place for food and drinks. Not a massive menu mainly Pinsas burgers and salads but good quality tasty food great service and nicely done restaurant/bar. A great find right next to funicular. We have been 3 times in one week which is unheard...of as we tend to like to try somewhere new every night but it just ticked the boxes for us.More

One of the best eating experiences in Montecatini Terme. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful - particularly so with their help translating the menu. Food was delicious and good value for money. We returned a couple of days after eating their because we enjoyed it...so much. We highly recommend Funi 1898More

Best restaurant we tried in Italy so far. Had it’s own DJ, and the staff were amazing! Definitely recommended it and it offers great value for money. Also the margarita pizza is a must!

We loved this restaurant! During our stay we tried to eat in as many places that we could that were off the beaten path and this place was amazing! There were seven of us and every dish we ordered was better than the last! Our...waiter David was amazing and couldn’t not have been more accommodating. We made a last minute reservation and when we got there we were greeted by a sign in the table welcoming us! Every time I visit Montecatini, we will sure be eating here!More

Who would have guessed that the funicular cars close for 1.5 hours for lunch. I guess the locals know they are either stuck on top of the hill or will wait a while before going up. Voila, The Funi is your oasis. Sit down and...relax while you wait. Have a bite to eat, a glass of wine etc. Clean, bright and friendly.More

My husband and I dined here as read such good reviews. I went for lasagna which was vegetable it was delicious and my husband went for gnocchi. I loved the restaurant, it was quiet as the funicolore was closed for lunch time. I drank the...homemade lemonade which was divine. Staff were very attentive and friendly.More

Saw reviews and wanted to try this place out. Easy to find at the bottom of funicular railway. We thought this was a American/ Italian restaurant ( most photos were of burger and chips) but was pleasantly surprised by their themed menu. Cocktail to match...the food menu based on London, Amsterdam,Japan. Fish and chips was Amsterdam but I think more London English. Ordered one cocktail for matching food club sandwich ( no sides). Had a bottle of wine starting at €15 With other meals, chicken parcels and spicy chicken. Portion were quite small. Offered photo cards to match the plate of food with menu. Shared a couple of deserts. Maybe a good idea to put some pictures of new food menu online. Did notice other table being offered chips and peanuts with drinks before food came, not offered to us.More
