Brilliant beef carpaccio, one of the best we have ever had the pleasure to eat in any part of the world. The intensity of flavour throughout was unparalleled in Sicily. The table next to us had a mouth-watering Florentine steak. Particularly for meat, this is the best restaurant in Sicily in my view.

We stayed at the hotel and had dinner every evening at the restaurant. The starters and pasta dishes are very tasty. We loved it.

Travelling out of season (before Easter) in Southern Italy it can take some time to find 'excellent' and 'open' coinciding. My resourceful Brazilian food-and-travel muse quickly sniffed this place out on Trip Advisor when we arrived at the end of a long drive from a hermetically closed Tropea. Completely delightful to look at and be in, lavish amounts of space:... More

we were a group of 16 and had a table in the newer part of the restaurant. (some paintings got our attention and a great deal of laughter and speculation! ) . the food was soooo good. we were served varied appetizers one better than the others, a mixture of fish and non fish, cold and warm. this in itself... Recommended and booked by our hotel and we were not disappointed. The venue looks a little dishevelled from the outside but once inside the décor is overwhelming. You are shown to simple tables by polite professional waiters, and then the menu; well its a little overwhelming, with a fantastic choice. We had a simple capaccio that was fantastic and intended... I have eaten at this Restaurant twice. The first time was good, nice atmosphere and was midweek. The second time was Friday. The starters were excellent (carpaccio ) but the main Angus Beef was tough. If you don't like it Rare tell the waiter as they do not ask how you would like it cooked. The price I paid for... More

I love, love this restaurant. The chef/owner Chiara is amazing. I love the steak tartare which was delicate and rich at the same time. The quality of meat is impeccable and make sure to order the "tagliata" which is ALWAYS cooked to perfection! She always offers wonderful daily specialties. Brava!

We stayed in Milazzo for over a month and didn't come here until our last night. What a mistake! We initially turned away due to our budget, but finally couldn't resist and found that Al Bagatto can be enjoyed at a very reasonable price. We shared the starter and the primi and then each enjoyed a secondo and a desert.... More
