We never really intended to visit Capitan Cook. we were staying locally, and were just walking along the road when a chap pulled up alonside us in a battered old Suzuki pick up, with benches in the back. Fancy a nice lunch he said, and we said, why not. After a hair raising, but amazing 1km drive down a track... More

Despite the stunning location this is the most corrupt restaurant that we had the misfortune to visit. The signs along the road point to a beach side restaurant 300m along from the Hotel Delfino. After walking uphill for approximately that, we were greeted by a very nice man on a chair who offered to ferry us down to the beach... More

Bring a bathing suit and be hungry...don't be in a hurry. Loved the ride down (and up the hill). Food was beyond...get them to just bring stuff out. Enjoy the water, the day and the food. As we all imagined our first day on the coast.

We did quite a lot of walking whilst we were in this area and were very happy to walk from our villa down the track to Captain Cooks for a late afternoon drink, It's true they have a captive audience but they really do have something great going on. The food coming out of the kitchen looks and smells fantastic.... More

After 1 year i came back in this Little paradise between rocks and sea. To be honest here the nature did a great job. The restaurant managed by local kind people is also good: tomatoes, fresh tuna and mozzarella cheese recommended. Is not exactly cheap but i consider the total beal as a good balance between the beauty of the... More

Captain Cook is only open for lunch and is difficult to reach, but for those who have the will, it offers a great spot to spend the day. We stayed at Villa Aretusa which is located next to Captain Cook and was only a 4 min walk. There are two ways to reach the restaurant. The first is on the... More

Easier to get to on scooters or a boat and you need to be committed! I believe they have a "shuttle" service that will bring you down to the location which is right on the water. We felt like we had found a local spot and while the service was slow (they were PACKED), the food was great and the... More

I recommend this beautiful 'off the beaten track' restaurant... And the beach cove it offers. It is easy to get to with a scooter, only walking the last hill. Not touristy at all. The delicious seafood is so fresh. We had the Calamari and loved it ! Great family restaurant, with kids as waiters, definitely worth supporting !

Secluded rocky beach with beautiful clear water and a great view. Quiet and basic and perfect for a relaxed day, we had great food at the restaurant with Tuna bruschetta, fresh grilled fish and pasta. Staff were friendly and we had a great day enjoying this wondeful hideaway.

We hiked down to Captain Cook, less for the food, more to swim in the beautiful clear water Unfortunately it was cut short as I was stung by a small jellyfish! It looks like it would be a great place to snorkel or dive, but be careful. We didnt get a chance to eat at the.restaurant but the area seemed... More
