A wonderful evening at the Acini Nero

We’ve just spent a lovely evening at this excellent restaurant. The place is nice and intimate. The service was was always on time and very efficient. Waiting time between dishes was more than fine. For starting, we shared.an aubergine millefoglie it was far more than the label on the dish promises. Then we had a wonderful duck which is not very easy to find iso well cooked in Italy. And we closed with two excellent desserts. In the end, it’s been a quite unexpected experience in a positive sense. We advise everybody to take the time to get there and love the setting, the cuisine and the service. It will be a very nice evening.

This restaurant is a bit upmarket, a bit more elegant than the usual places around here. The food is (much) more refined and simply delicious! The prices are the same as elsewhere in the area, but for much more in every respect. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

We ordered primi and secondi courses for our dinner and matching wines for the dishes. I believe that restaurants sommelier was the one who helped us with wines. And the waitress helped us with the menu. Food was an absolutely fantastic taste journey. service was also excellent, until we wanted to pay the check. We asked the waitress, who asked us if we wanted dessert, to bring us the check. Note: she was different waitress than at the start. We waited for roughly 15 minutes and nothing. We kindly asked her again that we would like to pay and mentioned that we asked for the check a while ago. She promptly answered and went on her way. Again another 15 minutes before we finally got the check. We were ready to pay it and waited another five minutes before waitress came to cash us. In total we waited over half an hour (thats over 30 minutes) to pay and leave the restaurant. Sad that a restaurant experience that started so well ended in super slow finish, that gave the good food a slightly bitter taste.

The best seafood restaurant in the whole Tuscany!

Everyone should try soup with frutti di mare in Acino Nero - it is soooo delicious. Primo and secondo seafood dishes are also excellent. In addition they have very large selection of great wines. We were travelling through Tuscany and we ate in a lot of great restaurants but Acino Nero is my number one! Perfect food, great atmosphere and nice people.

Nice, good and relaxing dinner

We finally found place in this fine restaurant with excellent reviews. The menu contains fish courses and meat courses so I ate fish and my husband meat. All I was perfect, loved expecially baccalà with smashed carrots and my husband ravioli al pecorino. Wine from Parma was good and different from the usual commercial Tuscan wines. The atmosphere is simply and elegant at the same time. Just an alert for people who is worried from dog, there's a small dog that sometimes welcome clients!

Really delicious fish and desserts in a modern, elegant, but informal atmosphere. This restaurant is well worth a visit. It's not the cheapest place but its also not ridiculously expensive. Definitely a place to go for a special occasion. Good wine, and a modern contemporary feel with tables made from reclaimed pallets and friendly attentive hosts. Just remember to leave a place for dessert!?

This restaurant is very Nice with high quality level food and courteous waitre. Very good wine anche fulfilling dish with a total price not so high. This place is good for business, couple and friends dinner. Only Sunday are open for lunch. Reservetion is better.

I went back to Acino Nero for dinner with friends and as always It was a perfect night. Great food, delicious environment and very nice and helpful staff. Ogni volta che ci torno, rimango sempre molto soddisfatta!!! Consigliatissimo!!!!
