My wife and I enjoyed a nice lunch at Vidoc in it's street side dining area. We had read on TripAdvisor how gracious the management was--and it is! The servings were in reasonable proportions and good. The reason I'm unable to give Vidoc 5 stars is that there as SO many good restaurants in Malcesine! Go! Eat! Enjoy!

The first time we tried to eat there, the restaurant was fully booked, taken as a good sign. We got in another day and had high hopes, which is not always a good start. On the night we were there, there were hardly any people there. However, the menu looked interesting. We shared a starter, the trio of breads, with... More

This is a great little restaurant with a modern feel to it. I'm usually a bit suspicious of anywhere that looks very trendy, but our service was welcoming and unpretentious, even when we arrived quite late for the lunch sitting. Everything about our meal was very good. The tigelle starters (like mini sandwiches) were fun and tasty, and the fresh... More

This was a small restaurant with a contemporary feel. The food was excellent. We recommend the bruschetta which was very tasty and beautifully light. I had tagliatelle with saffron, leeks and bacon and my husband had the tagliatelle bolognese. Both were very tasty.

We had the bruschetta, mint pasta and the steak/chicken. Came back twice. Lovely service with a smile, and inventive, tasty food. The sort of place that makes you glad you went on holiday! Worthy of its top rating in Malcesine.

The veal marsala was amazing!! Best food of our 10 day trip in Northern Italy. It is a small restaurant and you should make a reservation.

Restaurant is cozy and nicely located in the middle of the centre. The waitresses were nice and not too intrusive. Food was delicious and the wine recommendations were spot on. Nothing to complain. We also liked that unlike in some restaurants in the area, they didn't pray for us to write a nice review on TripAdvisor nor tried to bribe... More
