Lovely time in this restaurant. No bookings. The restauranter is friendly, helpful & professional. Food good. Wine good. Service very good. Would definitely recommend if you are in Malcesine.

What a great find was Ristorante Al Gondoliere, Malcesine. Situated up a flight of stairs, the restaurant had a lovely terrace, where we were seated, overlooking the colourful square of Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. There was more seating indoors as well. We found the service attentive...and friendly and the food was fantastic. We were especially impressed that most pasta dishes were available as gluten free options and not just with one type of pasta but three. The trout was a standout dish for me and to finish a panna cotta with sharp blackcurrants was delicious. The manager was very friendly and welcoming. A bottle of limoncello was left on the table at the end of the meal to help yourself. A very lovely, memorable meal in the middle of the town. World definitely return.More

Fabulous Meal! We visited for dinner this week and had an excellent meal, our best so far this week! My husband had the lamb chops which were succulent and delicious and I had the filled pasta which was superb. Excellent presentation and service This has...to be one of the best restaurants in Malcesine by far. We will be returning soon!More

Beautifully presented and utterly delicious antipasta and pasta (meat and fish courses also available). Service was delightful with great attention to detail - and given the prices are comparable to many of the Malcesine restaurants, this restaurant really stood out. The food here was so good we went back for our last meal. Amazing flavours at really reasonable prices. The portion sizes were great. Definitely the best restaurant we went to. The staff are super friendly and service in general is excellent. At the end...of the meal we were left with a whole bottle of limoncello, not just a single shot like in other place. 10/10. Wonderful food and lovely staff! We ate here with our young son and the staff were so sweet with him. The food was very tasty and the service excellent. We can recommend the fish! The staff went ‘above and beyond’ for us, as we asked...for help to find a taxi. They were so helpful. Definitely worth a visit in Malcesine!More

Each time we visit Malcesine we come to this restaurant. The Manager is delightful and is always there. The menu is interesting and varied and well priced and the service is excellent. Highly recommend the fish carpaccio!

We have been back here every year for 4 years as each time we have such a good meal. The pasta is always such high quality and this year was no exception, the fish was also cooked beautifully. We had a perfect evening here! Lovely table on the big terrace. We both had a pasta and i’ve never had a better meal before. The spaghetti vongole is so rich and tastefull. Also the new people running the restaurant are TOP. Definately recommend if...you are in Malcesine! P.s. We are going back tomorrow :)More
