Almost a bit of a party atmosphere even though it's lunchtime. We end up a bit "back office", the fast food part with tray serving. Chicken from Rotisserie or lasagne, however, shows the ambition to serve good fast food.

Love this place! First floor, eat “a la carte” , no regrets. Book the beef steak “fiorentina” style. And the cooks creation “pasta sfoglia” dessert.

Somehow even though the place was bursting at the seams we got delicious food served hot and promptly in a cosy Alpine setting. Usually we would eat snacks outside but this time we were lucky enough to get a table inside and the food was...awesome. A place like this could so easily be a tourist trap but this was far from the case.More

Possible one of the most popular stops on the slopes. Nice place to relax and enjoy the food and drinks.

it's a friendly atmosphere, food is great and so are the wines... and let us not forget the "digestive" from the bucket...

We stopped in at Rifugio Costaccia every day to have a "warm-up" break. The Coffee and Hot Chocolate were perfect for this - and then followed with some DELICIOUS Goulash Soup - this I can highly recommend. It does get pretty crowded after the ski...school lessons for the morning are done; but the staff there are friendly and efficient and they do offer a table service at the outside tables. The view is amazing and it is perfectly positioned between the top of the Gondola and the chair lift. Would I go back - God willing, an emphatic yes !!More

This place is a gem, it would be popular even f it would be in a city center and not on the ski-pists ... indeed you need to understand that once you get there, first you need to get to the first floor to really...get the restaurant (the ground floor actually is just serve basic meals for a quick lunch or break), and also that given the limited place and the amount of people which would like to eat the delicious food you might have to wait a bit. But once you’re seated.. well.. you’d not like to stand up anymore. Food is typical from the area, always freshly cooked, flavors and tast are great and genuine and dishes presentation is not a standard for a mountain restaurant. We would have liked to go there for all our lunches.. and indeed we just went there 3 times in a week! Service is generally very friendly even if you see that these guys are busy as hell!More

We’re going there for many years already, I couldn’t believe you can find such a good restaurant on a ski slope but like usually happens good things don’t last long. Food is still amazing, chef Mirko is still there doing his exquisite dishes but no...small aperitifs surprises anymore, no funny jokes and warm attitude of the previous team and as a consequence I’m sad to see this amazing place just on the 30th place in Livigno and it used to be on 3’d . Any meat course is a bless but take whatever they have on “primo del giorno” or secondo del giorno” and you’ll not be disappointed. Also try to take a table close to the kitchen window glass where chef Mirko is doing he’s magic and you’ll be surprised to see how art on a plate can be done. I hope they will bring Renatto back up and clients will have also a good laugh beside a good meal.More

After queuing for 45 minutes to order and pay, you have to stand in another line, to wait for your food. And then they are out of lasagne. They offer to give me my money back, but that does not give my 45 wasted minutes...back. I will not come back.More
