Good food, nice place, friendly service. A must try in Livigno. Near to city center. Degustation menus were full portions, so if you are not too hungry don’t ask for them. Or you might have degustation menu to share.
La Posa is most probably the best restaurant in the area. The food is out of this world! True excellence in this beautiful alpine village, worth a Michelin Star. Very high standard! The staff is super friendly and acts 100% professional. We will surely be...coming back each time we visit Livigno in the future. Our suggestion for foodies is not to bother with the more expensive alternatives (mostly situated further away from the town center) and give La Posa a good 3-4 nights for a complete mouth-watering dip in the local cuisine! PS don’t miss the pizzas from all the molecular gastronomie, they are amazing too :-)More
We came here with a bigger group and some of us were not satisfied with the food. The staff was friendly and the place is nice and cosy, but some of the portions were small and the prices are quite high, especially if compared to...other places with even better food in Livigno.More
Our family of four visited restaurant La Posa yesterday evening.
It was a very positive experience. As somebody wrote: "Tradition with a twist".
Don't miss their starter: Dear tartar with juniper icecream! Or their creme brule dessert.
Their wine-list is extensive and reasonable priced.
The...staff is paying attention and professional.
We are looking forward to return, and can only recommend this high-end restaurant in Livigno with moderate prices.More
The first thing we noticed was the eye of attention for the kids in our company: they got a glass of alcohol-free prosecco and their meals even before we could order.
Food was good, but was served too quickly. We ordered a Chateaubriand. They presented...the meat, and less that half an hour later, the meat was served. You can't properly prepare that dish in that amount of time at a high quality level: the fat wasn't melted yet.
Service was very good!More
We've come here because our favourite restaurants in Livigno were all full. Found this place on Tripadvisor as good rated. Now regarding the food... It was decent. It wasn't the best ever nor the best we had in Livigno. But can't complain. As 3 of...4 persons got pizza as main course it is kinda hard to judge. It is hard to find bad pizza in Livigno. Honestly, I had better before. But main thing to point out is definitely the service. From the beginning to the end just pure enjoyment. Very very pleasant experience. After ordering we got complimentary samples finger food appetiser. Then all of us got complimentary palette cleaser in form of really special basil infused sorbet. After that, as my father ordered the lamb, he was asked if he wants to pair it with some good wine. He said he would like shiraz as it is his favourite no matter what he's eating. The waiter said ok. Few seconds later he brings 2 bottles to the table saying "I know you asked for shiraz, but we have very special local wine which pairs excellent with the lamb, give both taste and pick the one you like better" My father still picked shiraz after tasting both as he loves full fruity taste of wine... Now the waiter still filled second glass with the wine he recommended and said " ok I understand but this is for all of you guys to compare and discuss" again free of charge... After the dinner they bring desert menu. We were all pretty full so we didn't want any full desert. Telling that to waiter he proposed if we want just bit of sorbet off the menu which we all agreed to. Before payment we've been presented with complimentary digestif. Again very very good experience service wise... They just make you feel like you're at home with friends. Make sure to bring cash to tip the guys well...!More
