Good food prepared in a simple manner with fresh produce. Good bruschettas and grilled meats. Good reasonable house wine served in earthenware jugs. Great stop for a casual relaxed meal. Friendly waitstaff.

I wasn't expecting much when we came here and we were blown away. The best bruschetta I ever had. Crunchy and toasted on outside and soft in the right places. The freshes highest quality ingredients. And the meat had such a delicious barbecue taste cooked over wood. It was an amazing lunch and wish we had found this sooner. We... More

We enjoyed lunch here. Food was good and reasonably priced and the staff were friendly. Typical Italian food, fresh and worth visiting if you are staring in Lecce.

Stopped here for lunch last week. We did not want a huge lunch and this seemed to fit the bill. The menu is not that extensive (and they do not do the usual pasta or pizza). It offers antipasti, bruschettas, cheese dishes, salads and meats etc. I opted for a cheese and mushroom bruschetta and my partner opted for a... More

Simple food well-prepared just like an osteria should be. The grilled veal was served on a bed of lettuce leaves and accompanied by grilled mushrooms. The service was friendly and the atmosphere very local. A great spot for lunch.

We stumbled by this osteria by chance. As we only wanted something light for lunch, had bruschetta for two. Tomato and mozzarella on one and cheese and ham on the other. I think the bread was toasted in the pizza oven (if not, it was very fresh and tasty for Italian bread)! Total cost including mineral water and soft drink... More

Had the local staple of chicory and fava beans a little heavy on olive oil but generous portion and tasty. Two focaccias. One with melted cheese and procuitto and one with mortadella and cheese (similar to cream cheese. Don't skip the to toast in the bread basket - olive oil - tasty!

Food was rustic and tastey. But they brought out a meat dish rather than vegetarian one that we ordered.

We stopped by for a light lunch and ended up feeling like we had a feast! I was encouraged to try fava beans and chicory for the first time and it then became my staple while in Lecce! The salads were different and portions were huge! We felt it was excellent value for money too.
