Enjoy the highest level menu made with the best quality ingredients. My favorites: Noisettes crispy sweetbreads cream burned leeks, potato chips "vitellotte" and black truffle sauce; egg ravioli "San Domenico" with mountain butter, fresh parmesan and seasonal truffles, sirloin of veal cooked at low temperature with sunflower seeds cream and Brussels sprouts. A tasteful food experience.

It was my pleasure to visit San Domenico for dinner. This restaurant should be the standard for fine dinning. The service, food, wine, and restaurant itself is a beautiful experience. Some of the best wines of my Italian trip were introduced to me at dinner. Arrive in Imola early and enjoy the wonderful village. You will not be disappointed!

The restaurant has a long history of 2 Michelin stars and has a good standing in the La Liste. So we were expecting an experience of a very high standard. However it turned out to be the worst of all 2-star restaurants we've been in Italy (Duomo, Torre del Saracino, Il Sorriso, Villa Crespi, Miramonti L'altro, Casa Perbellini, La Frasca,... More

I knew in advance this was going to be a great experience thanks to Anthony Bourdain and Michael White. We had what they call the businessman lunch which included 3 courses and the kept our wine glasses full too. The great service and beautiful interior added to our pleasure. This was by far the most attractive restaurant we saw on... More

We have been coming to San Domenico in Imola for the last 12 years -- it is expensive, but we always leave thinking that it was well worth it! Their signature dish, the egg ravioli, is beyond compare! In fact, we keep trying to make it at home, but don't have access to the best truffles! We don't eat fish... More

Sand Domenico is one of the historical italian restaurant. In the 1982 they also opened in NYC and they offered the real italian dishes offered also in Imola. The ambiance is very elegant and it's mandatory a visit if you are in Romagna.

If you want to have a truly amazing meal, this is the place. San Domenico will not disappoint. The Uovo Raviolo that they are famous for is to-die-for! It's hard to imagine something tasting so delicious - it was scrumptious! It IS very expensive (especially the wine list - very inflated prices), but you're not just paying for the food... More

First this place is a wonderful little town. So old world. You must have three hours at least for dinner. Yes you will need reservations in advance. From the moment we entered the service was impeccable. We started with some champagne then went right in to a big red wine. we decided to go with the chef menu which was... More

We sought out San Domenico in the small town of Imola specifically for one dish- the Uovo Raviolo. It did not disappoint! I could eat this for every meal and you could tell how fresh and clean the egg was, how much preparation went into it, and how carefully handmade the raviolo was. We made a reservation a week in...
