We were with Lorenzo on two evenings during our stay in Forte dei Marmi. Both times they we had absolutely excellent dinner experiences. The service staff was very friendly and always extremely attentive. Had remembered preferences with the drinks after the first time. The food was at the top level. All courses had the same high quality and the wine recommendations were also excellent. The price-performance ratio was absolutely reasonable for a starred restaurant and not overpriced. When we get back here, we will definitely go back to Lorenzo.

Since 1981, Forte Lorenzo has been synonymous with haute cuisine, especially fish, and a refined and comfortable environment. However, in a restaurant of this level, even the meat and meat dishes are of considerable value. Since 1984 the executive chef has been Gioacchino Pontrelli who offers a linear, substantial cuisine, attentive to the evolution and changes in tastes, which by virtue of a great basic technique expertly enhances local products (with a pleasant Campania influence, the chef's homeland) without giving in either to sterile, cloying and purely self-referential gastronomic lucubrations, or to the monotony of traditional dishes. We were 4 persons who travel a lot and tasted some good food around the world. The restaurant has 3 set menu (130,140,160 euro) and a la cart. We took 4 160 euro menu. We ask to change some dishes and they agreed happily. Alex the man in charge explained everything we ask and was very helpful and nice. All the courses were very good and special. The Toscan vermentino wine was nice with the fish and seafood dinner. We even brought one of their olive oil bottles because it was fantastic. We paid 800 Euro for lovely dinner ,nice atmosphere and fine service. Usually in restaurants like this there is always one dish we don’t like. Tonight we loved every thing that was served. We shall come back.

You never forget the first time, my compliments to all the staff, super welcome, table service🥇, the dishes are really well made from the care of the dish to the shape of the dish itself. Somelier very helpful and well prepared on everything.
Very elegant and classy environment, the table seats are very generous and very welcoming.
Definitely coming back and trying other dishes.

Outstanding food, service and overall attention. Made an effort to fit us in even though busy when our 5*L hotel recommended we try there. Try the tasting menu - it’s an extraordinary sampling of the best that the local seas have to offer.

Despite the Michelin star, this is a restaurant where class, style, quality and professionalism are truly at home. The consecration of the Red Guide is a further medal to be placed on the chef's jacket. Young dining room team, prepared, enthusiastic, friendly, polite. Kitchen brigade of equal depth. Memorable dishes from tradition and exquisite dishes from innovation. I tried some mullet as an appetizer and some bavette on the fish: all delicious! Monumental cellar!

Maybe it started as a Michelin star restaurant but now it is a good noisy trattoria like all trattorias, some very good historical dish but also dishes not adequate quality quantity price.

What about the “Lorenzo” restaurant at Forte... its fame precedes it and is fully deserved.
It is super refined but sober, never excessive, the staff is experienced and refined, never suffocating but always persuasive with discretion,
you feel truly pampered.

Lorenzo represents absolute excellence in Versilia. A similar size of cellar combined with magnificent dining room service and elegant surroundings can only be found here. The menu features dishes that have made history and new creations always signed by the chef himself. The star shines brighter and brighter.

Pleasantly relaxed environment in a late season Forte dei Marmi.
We found all the courses delicious, prepared with excellent raw materials and very balanced in flavors; in short, everything is the result of a long and thorough research.

We wanted to book a dinner for two people.
Reservation had been confirmed by email, the next day a request to enter the credit card (request arrived at 22).
Being on vacation we did not notice the arrival of this email, at midnight another email arrived with the Reservation cancellation directly.

Staying one evening at Lorenzo during our vacation. Lucky to get one of the few tables outside. Very attentive service personal explaining the different dishes. Overall a very good service but the expectations which had been raised because of Michelin Star could not be fulfilled. The food was overall good, the Spaghetti Versiliese (signature dish) were excellent.
