del Ghetto is a reasonable place to visit, in a beautiful old part of town, down one of the many narrow streets. It is particularly picturesque after dark, when the dim street lights are on. We identified ourselves in Italian and the fact that we had a reservation, but the woman who spoke to us told us to go upstairs.... More

That's a nice place to go out and hangout with person you care about. It doesn't have a big room so it is not suggested for big groups but it is warm and nice for the ambient. Just the paintings are a bit awkward compared to almost classy place. Classical background music keep you company while eating without intruding too... More

We were early for dinner here so it was almost empty on arrival. It seems to be a family run place which ensures that all have interest in making it work. The younger pair gave excellent service but the older lady is unfortunately becoming senile. The dining rooms are upstairs and by no means deluxe - but we don't eat... More

I enjoyed my dinner here. The capelletti al brodo was delicious and I tried salamina da sugo, a Ferrara specialty. As the hostess warned us, it's an acquired taste. But when in Rome... The service in the restaurant was very "hit and miss". By and large it was inefficient and the staff was not particularly friendly or polite. I'd like... More

Nice, small place on a side street in Ferrera. There is street seating, quite nice, although we got their early and say upstairs. The food was good (we had pasta and especially liked the pumpkin ravioli in bolognese sauce), the service warm and friendly and it's a charming little place. Family owned and it feels like it.

Quite interesting and different from traditional osterias. You can try excellent jewish courses (a new experience for me) instead of the usual italian cooking. The service is quite good and very helpful. We were allocated a table in one of the rooms at the first floor and the decoration was in the 1960 style with beautiful paintings.

I had an early dinner here and tried the tortelli alla zucca. The quality of the food was high, though the dish wasn't to my personal taste. I wanted to try it as the local speciality, but it is quite sweet. The house wine was more than acceptable. The service was fine once we got going. But I found the... More

This was my third choice as Noemi and La Mandolina were both closed for the holidays. As others have commented, this is a reliable, if unspectacular, traditional family-run place. It is in the old Jewish ghetto, which has inspired some of the dishes. Starter of cappellacci (ravioli) stuffed with pumpkin, followed by "salamina da sugo", which is haggis on a... More

The restaurant is very plain, so I immediately fell in love with it. The focus is on the food, and the wine's not bad either! The elderly lady who seems to run the place is unique. The seafood is fantastic! It was our primary reason for going there and it was a home run. The fried alici alone would have... More
