We dropped in for lunch after about 12 months from the last visit and found it very good again. We waited for a few minutes for a table for a two, and we're again impressed by the breadth of the menu and winelist. The waiter advised us re some of the items we enjoyed a shared plate of prosciutto, other... More

My mother and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here. The cold cuts are amazing and the pasta dishes simple but full of flavours. Would thoroughly recommend. Full of locals. Not expensive and lots of variety on the menu.

I've searched in TripAdvisor for a restaurant in Ferrara and found this one, with a positive comment about the "anatra" (duke in Italian). Took my chance since I love it. And it was worthwhile. Excellent duke, preceded by a wonderful tagliere of mortadela, prosciutto, copa and pani. Sangiovese wine (served in jars) and acqua frizante. Just wonderful. Should go!

A busy restaurant which also sells authentic local produce so we had high expectations, service was good, however, food was disappointing as polenta not well seasoned (infact one was rather salty) and duck was dry. On paying, the guy at the counter seemed quite indifferent and as soon as I'd paid he carried on talking to his friend! No farewell... More

This was our second visit to Cusina e Butega and it didn't disappoint. We visited for dinner and had the cappelleti to start followed by the risotto ai funghi porcini, both excellent. The service was prompt, there's a good choice of wines and the shop alongside allows you to buy the local specialties.

This restaurant offers a terrific range of local produce all made freshly. We were taken there by suppliers and of course they ordered the best! We had a great starter, I would suggest do not order too much, they are large portions, leave some room for desert.

From the time you are warmly greeted as you walk through the door until the time you leave you will experience a gastonomic feast with service to match. This is our second visit to Ferrara and we ate several times at this restaurant on both occasions. Whilst it is difficult to rate the dishes because of their exceptional quality we... More

We ate at this restaurant on the recommendation of our B&B, and it was a good choice - so much so that we went there for dinner the next night as well. Cuisine that is typical of the region. We especially like the cappelletti in brodo di capone and the pumpkin gnocchi. Great meat dishes and desserts. The restaurant has... More

Its a good restaurant, with great food, good location and a comfortable local. I have already gone there a lot of time as I live here. But i would only say that the staff is rude. What makes me think 2 times before going back. Causes me the impression they are doing a favor to receive me there. I really... More
