We had a week in Cefalù and was very happy with every restaurant we went to including this one but I did find that it was very average in comparison to other restaurants we had experienced in this time the atmosphere is good the service...was good and the food was ok this restaurant is one of the more expensive restaurants we went to and unfortunately not the best but I do want to stress it’s a very nice place and the staff are very good. Also have the lamb chops if you like lamb they are very nice.More

Seems like they have categorized themselves as medium expensive and because of that I give the restaurant not higher than 3 of 5. This is a fine diner restaurant with exceptional food, location and service. The lamb was maybe the best we have ever had,...and the other courses held top class aswell. But it did cost a lot (f.ex. 1 bottle of water cost 6 euro) but because of our overall great experience we are still very satisfied. If we had known this was a $$$$ restaurant we would have given the rating 4, maybe 5 of 5.More

We had a tasting menu. It was good but nothing special. When you pay £150 for meal for 2 you expect at least one dish that will blow your mind. So it did not happen this time.

I should have paid more attention to the actual reviews. 3 ok reviews in the past year and it’s the 2nd best restaurant in Cefalu!! I won’t bore you with the details of our disastrous evening as I want to move on.More

Framed by the mountains and the sea, the view is promising. But we were not wowed at this lovely Sicilian restaurant. My octopus appetiser was well cooked but the lobster and pasta that followed was tasty bit too salty. My partner had rice and zucchini...which was, again, tasty but nothing exceptional. The prices here are a bit more than other restaurants in town and the premium wasn’t justified by the food. Good service.More

I read a lot of excellent reviews so was looking forward to visiting here with my family on our first night in Cefalu. The setting of the restaurant is beautiful, it’s in a quiet courtyard just outside the main town. The service was excellent and...there was a good choice of a la Carte and a tasting menu to pick from. We decided to go a la carte although two of the dishes I requested were from the tasting menu and they were happy to let me have these. They also provided us with some sample arancini appetisers and welcome drinks which were a lovely touch. Our first courses were pasta based, my other half had spaghetti with sea urchins which he said tasted good but he was disappointed to find no actual seafood in, his second course was a tomahawk steak which he said was lovely. I had a tomato pasta with a tuna steak. The tomato lobster pasta which was fairly average but the tuna steak was delightful. We didn’t try deserts but the selection looked good. The wine list was also extensive. The food on the whole was good but it was more expensive then some other places we had eaten and I didn’t it feel it offered great value for money. However, with a few tweaks this place could be amazing.More

We found this place via Tripadvisor and found it to be somewhat on the outer rim of the city, and overlooking the city. Very nice veiw from there. Among the 5 different resturants we were at, this was the best one. Slightly more expensive but...not that much. The appertizer and dessert was the best. We had monkfish as main, and it was good as well, but the cured ham with truffle slices on as starter and passionfruit dessert was the best. We recomend going to this place!More

We have recently been on vacation in Cefalù so we searched some places for our dinner and we’ve read beautiful review about this restaurant. When we’ve arrived the maître has made us arrange in a beautiful garden. We have ordered two appetizer of fish and...they have been a really disappointment they missed of freshness. Then we have ordered two seconds and they was really uneatable and raws. The only thing we’ve appreciated has been the wine from us choosen. Even if there wasn’t almost anybody we’ve waited a lot. It has been overall a disappointing experience because is too expensive and kitchen not good at all.More

I had the pleasure to visit this amazing place 13 September 2017 with my girlfriend and 7 month old daughter, sleeping in her stroller. Thanks Dario for a fantastisk service. We like you a lot. The only thing I would wish, that is very common...in Denmark, and i have seen it in many restaurants in Italy too - is a selection Of wines to buy pr. glass, so you van pair up each dish with a different wine. Still 5/5..More

After reading all of the excellent reviews for this place (and because Le Brace was fully booked) we decided to go here. From looking at the pictures on here and reviews, we thought it was going to be special, it wasn't. We went on a...Thursday and we made a reservation. We arrived and were told we could choose from about 8 tables. We asked about the terrace and they said it was closed on weekdays. Great! I don't understand why sitting people on the terrace with the lovely views (that I didn't get to see) is such an issue on weekdays. We were therefore seated in the courtyard. We were brought a free glass of prosecco and some arancini. I am not a big fish lover so I ordered from the main menu instead of the tasting menu. My first course was pasta with mushrooms and bacon and it was really bland. I have eaten in Michelin Star restaurants and I have also eaten in many chains like Zizzi's and I honestly think the starters in Zizzi's are better (and they aren't great!). The main was much better, we had the lamb chops and they were cooked very well. We decided not to have a dessert. We were self catering so this was a treat for us and I wish we had gone somewhere else.More
