You walk into this place and you're transported. The historic building seems to radiate centuries of smiles and laughter, and yours will add to the ambience after you taste chef Riccardo Ceccarelli's inspired food, paired with delicious (and surprisingly reasonably priced) wine. There's no menu here. You, like every other guest get, the chef's creations du jour, which come in... More

We dined here 2 years ago and it was just as incredible the second time around. There is no menu and on the placemat it states that this is a true slow food dining experience, mobile phones must be turned off, children are not welcome unless their behavior is impeccable and if you are in a rush then Mc Donald's... This place provides an overall unique experience that is not worth missing out on. You don't have to choose what to order, they have a set menu and you go with it and you enjoy every dish. The food just keeps coming, every dish to an exceptional standard in both flavor and presentation. Great wine list and the extreme selection... More

Creative food, great wine list, funky/creative decor, and warm service will put a smile on your face just like Mariella has. Each of the many courses will have you anticipating the next. Like being in someone's home, if that someone is a great chef. Can not wait to return.

Scrumptious! Innovative! Fun! Our dinner at Locanda del Principato yesterday was all that and more.Although it was not our first visit to this modest restaurant with its quirky decor and we had always enjoyed the food, yesterday's dinner was the best yet! You do not choose your dishes, you are served a succession of courses, generally six or seven of... More

Locanda del Principato is a place of a kind. The chef Riccardo and his wife Mariella, are always nice and friendly. I go there now and then, especially when I would like to have a special dinner. The food is always extremely good and sometimes sophisticated, based on traditional cuisine revisited. Often you can have a nice chat and a... More

The menu here is fixed price. They have a daily theme for the food. You eat what you are served. Sometimes all fish, sometimes all meat. You don't have to speak Italian, you just have to want to eat a lot
