Great location, very popular with the locals. Catered really well for our gluten and dairy free party members, despite our lack of Italian language!

A good quality casual Trattoria on the raised square and so a great spot. The service was a little chaotic as the restaurant was very busy. We definitely took 2nd priority when the locals arrived (of which there were many) The food is standard Italian...More

We felt completely neglected by the wait staff. After bringing our main meal, we were left abandoned for half an hour. I kept looking for our waiter to order desert, but he was nowhere to be found. Finally I asked someone else for a desert...More

We went here as a big family while enjoying Tuscany and the region; it's well situated next to the castle and has a nice view of the public square. It's a quiet era off the main road and one of the older restaurants in town....More

We stayed in Castellina in Chianti for seven nights and ate here twice. Chicken Liver Pate, Tuscan Mixed Board, Scummy. Grilled Lamb Chops, Roast Mixed Meats, Amazing. Cafe Semi-Freddo, Gorgeous. Would highly recommend it.

Sorry for the delayed answer but if my memory serves me right there was no problem with the interpretation of the Menu. If sub-titles were omitted, the staff was approachable and had a reasonable command of English... More

Not sure but restaurants in Italy have now become more aware of dietary requirements and usually would cater appropriately... A phone call or Internet check of menu might be helpful...Sorry, enjoy!
