Came here without a reservation. We were seated outside away from the heaters on a chilli night. Service was slow-ish but then again it was busy. Food was decent nothing special but not bad either. I had the sea bass with rosemary potatoes which although was quite nice, everg mouthful was full of bones which made if difficult to eat.... More

We had 2 portions of stewed rabbit-both looked bad. It was not clear at all what part of rabbit it is. Many different parts. So many bones. My mom had pasta with rabbit sauce-also bones in pasta. Wine served and not poured into glasses. Waitress was arogant. Place itself too small-sit back to another table in milimetres is not the... More

We visited this place a few times whilst in Bardolino. Its down a back alley, it's quite small, but busy. We really enjoyed the food, beautifully prepared, the staff were very attentive, specifically a delightful Romanian girl. Worth having the Pink Chiaretto sparkling wine. It was an absolute winner.

Booking is a challenge as no website or e-mail published. We got there and it was worth it. Again, like our other choices, away from the main tourist hordes and quality food. Service took a while to warm to us but then became friendly. Tucked away in a narrow lane in central Bardolino but off the main tourist path. Well... More

Firstly, let me say that people really should get over themselves when leaving negative reviews. Clearly they have little in the way of taste or knowledge of good food. Now, back to this excellent little family run restaurant up a quiet alley off the main promenade. We ate here for the second time (the first being our last visit to... More

Good service and owner nice in suggesting reasonably good local wines ... Price quality ratio is good, do not expect a breathtaking location but is definitely not a tourist trap restaurant. Suggested for an informal lunch/dinner.

Having looked at the reviews we decided to go to this restaurant on our last night, it was worth the wait! Service was very good with friendly staff. Shared a starter of aubergine and tomato millifure. The fillet steak amarone and rosemary potatoes were excellent. Would highly recommend a visit!

How this place gets such good reviews is a mystery. The food was dire. We didn't have a reservation and the place was about half full, but it took us about 20 minutes to be given menus and (very stale) bread. To start we had the octopus carpaccio which tasted of absolutely nothing and the chicken crostini which looked as... More

Promptly seated despite no reservation we enjoyed a very pleasant meal. The waitress was friendly and the owner oversaw the dining with pride. We enjoyed in particular the duck. I'd recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking to avoid the many tourist traps and enjoy good food in pleasant surroundings.
