Reading many recent reviews, we were quite apprehensive about this restaurant. Could it be a "tourist trap" relying on a lovely view and a long tradition? Fortunately, the kitchen is quite competent, the wait staff makes up for light experience with genuine earnestness, and there is an extensive wine list which is fairly priced. A seafood risotto was quite excellent,... More

We try and come here once a year and so far have not been disappointed. Service was good without being overpowering, wines are good and they even have a selection of half bottles. Food was very good without having the wow factor. We'll definitely be back next June. Prices are what you expect in an upmarket restaurant.

The positives: Beautiful view and friendly employee advises where to park. Clientele are plentiful and smartly dressed. Restaurant is attractive too. The negatives: Menu has plenty of fish and seafood but is repetitive. The menu lacking in detail may mean you end up with the same ingredients in both primero and main course - not that the waiter will tell... More

You can say what ever you want thats not the best in Alassio. Its a nice place, the view it's fab but the cuisine don't deserve the first place.

You are rewarded after a long climb to the top with an amazing perspective of Alassio and the Ligurian coast. Good quality food.

The ambience is good, the views superb but the food is not as fresh as it should be. The ingredients seem good but they appear to have been prepared in advance.

Endless wonderful food and the view from the dining room is amazing!!!! Its a bit of a drive up a very winding road and parking is scarce but it is worth it to eat in the Best restaurant in Alassio...

La Vigna must be the best restaurant in the region. La Vigna has the most stunning view of the Bay of Alassio as it perched in the village of Solva, just above Alassio. The food is always so consistently good. The seafood risotto is amazing and the spaghetti La Vigna is full of vongole, mussels, squid, prawns - so tasty.... More

We have been to La Vigna twice. The first time was in August 2013, when we immediately fell in love with the restaurants view on the sea. I remember the dishes where way to big so that we had to reject the dessert, but this has improved fortunately. The dishes became well-sized so that you can enjoy a complete menu.... More
