The lunch menu here is great value...22 euros for two courses of fresh, hearty cuisine. A simple salad or soup for a starter is perfectly done, and main courses are comforting classics with great sauces. Proper no nonsense seasonal cooking. A good wine list with a lot of organic and biodynamic. Plenty of parking right next door.

Definitely a one off, but the food was excellent! If you're going to venture into the lions' den make sure you book first. I am sure that the lady who was waiting tables (probably the proprietress) is totally charming but she wasn't too impressed that we hadn't booked. The restaurant filled up and it became apparent that puddings weren't served... More

This was our first time at the restaurant and the rudeness was shocking. The owner, (or manager, not sure) did not welcome us or come over to take our order. The chef waved us to our table and we sat wondering what was going on as the owner mumbled and glared at us. What was our 'crime'? Who knows? We... More

This place hidden away in the centre of Saint André has a couple of car parks within 2 mins walk, and is well worth the visit. It's just 10 minutes by car from the crowds on the coast. The menu changes daily based on top quality ingredients - local wherever possible - and the cooking is simple and spot-on. I... More

It was a slow night and the owner-chef could have declined our reservation as we would be the last customers. Instead, he created the perfect small meal for our late-night dining. Excellent wine at a reasonable price.

For all I know the food tastes good. However, nothing would induce me to go and eat in a restaurant where the owner gives you such an unpleasant welcome! We understand that dogs are not accepted there but it does not mean that you have to be shouted out and spoken to in such a rude way. No food can... More

Excellent seasonal food always beautifully prepared. Doo book as there are only 15 covers. You won't be disappointed.

We dropped by in July and were fortunate to get a table at this gem of a restaurant, This small restaurant is run by a couple who truly know what excellent food and wine is. The chef seems to personally devise, prepare, and cook every part of every customer's food. The food is both truly imaginative yet quite simple-- a... More

The restaurant has just 5-7 tables, in a nice village called Saint Andre some 25 km of Perpignan going to Banyuls . The Church was started under Charlemagne and finished in 823. In itself is worth traveling to see. It is a family run village restaurant, with the two owners cooking (Laurent) and serving (Martine). Very nice and friendly people.... More
