We live locally and had been excited to come for lunch. We were the third table to arrive in an otherwise empty restaurant. Basically we were ignored and we waited for over 10 minutes to order. The table of 4 which came in after us,...ordered and was served before we were. The service was just absent. The tuna on the Salad Nicoise was listed on the menu as Mi-Cuit, however it was well done. In order to get the check, we again....waited......and waited......and waited. and it was bizarre.More

You can expect a lot from a Michelin-recommended restaurant; the Orangerie meets most expectations. The environment first of all (we started the dinner in the open air, overlooking the park, and finished indoors, in the beautiful and spacious room), certainly an excellence. The service, on...the other hand, showed some flaws (small delays in responding to requests; smudges at the table) but still of excellent level. For the food: we chose the Menu Découverte, made of three courses, choosing the option Agneau de région, petit pois et carottes à la Française, jus de fleur de sureau; the only truly exceptional course, the dessert (Pêche confite au sirop de rosé Fonscolombe, Financier aux amandes, sorbet verveine et mousse légère à l'huile d'olive). Really remarkable wine list, with a considerable amount of wine (we chose a bottle of Laurances Côtes-du-Rhone-Villages 'Séguret' 2015). Pleasant experience but high costs (with the wine, the threshold of 100€/person is widely exceeded).More

beautiful restaurant, great food and gorgeous setting, especially in the evening. Far from the town but worth it. if you are staying on the premises you dont need to go out to eat.More
