We ate here twice on consecutive days. The pub in a old building with very low ceilings which are easy to walk into. We were happy to return on our second visit although I would describe the food as homely and average. The beef and...More

We visited on a beautiful Saturday lunchtime with cloudless blue skies and the pub was quiet, which meant we could enjoy the beautiful views from the amazing beer garden in peace. The owner has obviously taken a lot of time and trouble to landscape and...More

We recently moved to the area and heard good things about the Butcher's, but we were still taken by surprise. The first thing you notice is how friendly the place is - all the staff make you feel welcome, and the atmosphere is very cosy....More

A lovely old half-timbered pub in gorgeous countryside 8 miles SE of Hereford and a few miles from Ledbury, Ross and Malvern. Run by chef Stephen Bull. The pub's food is sourced from local ingredients, and there are cask ales and local cider and perry. The Butchers runs regular special food and wine evenings (dates posted on website). Large garden with stream for nice days, two roaring fires in the winter. Separate room bookable for parties. Family and dog friendly. Warm welcome.
