We enjoyed an excellent lunch on the terrace at the end of March in glorious sunshine. the Plat du Jour is to be recommended. Pat is an institution and will always make you feel welcome. We have been visiting for many years and will continue for as long as we visit La Plagne.

We stopped in here to rest our legs after a long day skiing. We only wanted a drink and were shown to lovely big couches near a big open fire. I had a fantastic mulled wine. When the food arrived for the table behind us we were very envious of it, it smelled delicious. Worth walking slightly off piste for.

The place looks lovely, but.... Four of us arrived for lunch, and first of all met a French friend on the terrace. She said that the people there were 'odd' and had been rude to her and her partner (both French). Thinking nothing of it we entered, decided to eat inside, and as the restaurant was less than a quarter... More

My wife and I stumbled upon this place in a whiteout day. The owners were welcoming and understanding of our pigeon French! The food was delicious, tartiflette, green salad, carafe of house red and a lovely blueberry tart. The best thing was the roaring fire, we stayed a good while longer than intended! We went back the next day with... More

We alway make a point of stopping here fo lunch when we are in the area. This year we came across from Les Arcs to visit. We booked on our way past in the morning as it is usually very busy at lunchtime. Food is great and the service is friendly and is reasonably priced. Food is always delicious. We... More

No entrecôte, no plat du jour, one tartiflette left. Chips served cold and when we asked for hot chips Madame took great exception to a very reasonable request leaving a sour taste for what should have been a lovely ski meal.

We popped in for an early lunch last week and the food and atmosphere were great. Large fresh delicious portions. The kids had the sausages, I had the entrecôte and my wife an omelette. I would advise you to book as it was packed and a cue out the door by the time we left.

We've been coming here for years. Le Sauget has great atmosphere, not at all like some ski restaurants. The food is very good, with generous platefuls. Madame is very French, in the nicest possible way. The place can get very busy at times, and there's no guarantee of seats. Overly roaring fireplace, if you can get to it. The Gaufres... More
