Lovely food. Worth traveling to. The staff were really attentive and knowledgeable and enjoyed presenting and describing the food on the menus.

We had a delightful group dinner for 9 of us in this friendly, exquisite restaurant. The waiter was polite, knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about the menu and the wines. I thought it was exceptional value for money. The duck (main course) was cooked to perfection.

In Spring and Summer, La Riera comes into its own. Nestling in an enchanted woodland setting on a picturesque road that meanders through the villages of Monells and Madremanya on its way towards Sant Marti Vell, it's perfect for al fresco dining. Terrace tables are neatly dressed in white linen contrasting nicely with the leafy, floral surroundings. The service is... More

We had lunch on a Saturday. The place is beautiful, nicely decorated, quiet,.. makes you feel well. The food is excellent. We ordered the house day menu for 22,5€ and it is worth it. Good value for the money. The fish and meat were all superb. The only not-so-good thing is slowness... probably the kitchen collapsed, and we really had... More

Me and my friends dropped in on a Tuesday night. La Riera was highly recommended by our airbnb host. And what a surprise! It's got a beautiful setting outside. We don't understand a single bit of Spanish, the waiter was patiently explaining every single dish. All the dishes are locally sourced, fresh and with distinctive flavour. Especially the watermelon soup,... More

We dropped into La riera restaurant on a Tuesday, when the main restuarant is closed and only food from the fire heated oven is on offer. There was only one other couple and the staff went out of their way to make our meal memorable. Everything we tried was delicious and as we were sharing dishes, they even served every... More

This is a must for all you travellers. We sat in a green oasis of cobble stones and grass under fig trees and ancient cedars. A stream runs along the border and the food is cooked over an old, wood burning oven in the garden. If you wish to eat inside you are seated in a cave which is dripping... More

We have had a dinner in this restaurant on April 21st. Amazing quite atmosphere of the restaurant in the woods, old rural house, very pleasant service, nice selection of wines and aperetifs. The menu is very interesting, mix of traditional with the twist and notes of modern fusion cuisine. Good value! Would recommend this place to the visitors and friends.
