Such an unique place. Beautiful location, great service and excellent food. Friendly family business with a authentic and super delicious local, traditional cuisine for a very affordable price. (menu with everything you could wish for for 25 euros including drinks, coffee etc). Overall fantastic experience...that I will remember. I highly recommend it to everyone that happens to be in the area.More

That was one wow effect to eat there. The place was recommended by the host of our hotel as they dont serve any dinner. So we went one evening to this place and were a bit skeptic in the beginning. The restaurant overfilled, only 2...waiters and no menu on the table... The waiter came and just told us what it will be this evening, different starters, different primeri and secondi platters, pasta, meat and different desserts. We told him its up to him to decide and man, that was a good decision. The food was permanently coming out of the kitchen, one small dish after the other, filled with the most delicious Italian food I ever was eating. Fresh made pasta, fish, meat and everything on a high level. We decided for this, said "no grazie" to that and I was surprised how the waiter can keep control as that obviously happened at every table. When it came to the bill I was really surprised about the low amount, including vine, table water, coffee and dessert. Seems like everybody paid the same amount no matter how much you were eating. Great experience, great food, great staff, all this for a reasonable price. When you are in this region, you have to try this restaurant, otherwise you will miss a "special Italian experience. Highly recommended.More

We are from the U.S. and were visiting this area for 2 nights. We were so fortunate(thanks, Trip Advisor!) to find this restaurant and consider it one of the highlights of our 10 days in Italy. There was no menu, just the waiter telling us...about the antipasti, the choices for primi, secondi. All was served family style and the offerings just kept coming. The dishes were unique, unlike the offerings at most places we dined.Wish there was room for the dolce, but we were full. The house wine was wonderful. Our waiter, despite our language barrier, was so helpful in describing and helping us make our choices. As others have noted, we were a little fearful of the cost - but were pleasantly surprised at the value of our dinner here. The location is a little hard to find, but worth a special trip.More

This is the second time we have stayed at Albarosa and the family there have always made us feel so welcome. The breakfasts are spectacular with freshly baked cakes, endless tea and coffee and fresh fruit from their own land. Every time we have stayed...we have always eaten in the restaurant and enjoyed their huge starter platters with delicate slices of meats, and fried aubergines (the starter was enough to fill you up on its own!!) The main courses (primi) were pasta made by the 80 year old grandmother and hopefully she will pass on her secret recipe, as this pasta is like no other. It is so light and tasty. Then came the secondi platters and this time we had batons of barbequed beef, fried potatoes and veg from the land. And then when we thought we couldn't possibly eat any more the desert tray came out with a selection of freshly baked chocolate sponges, pannacotta, tiramisu and many more. We had jugs of wine and fantastic service from the two boys of the family Flavio and Fabrizio (always smiling and making it all seem effortless) You will definitely leave feeling full and satisfied and the atmosphere is always welcoming and fun. They are a lovely family and the farm, small swimming pool, meals and breakfast will ensure that you have a stay you won't forget...it's fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone (we went with a 9 year old and he loved it too)More

No nonsense resto without menucard andere paper napkins. Very nice service and a wol lot of great food. The biggest surprice was the bil, 44 Euro for a whole evening of food and wine! ( 2 person). Amazing. A well hidden place to be!

My girlfriend and I left this place feeling like they must have undercharged us! For the 5 hours we were there we were plied with wine, fresh fruit, cakes, a 5 or 6 course dinner (more food than we could really manage but it was...so delicious we forced it down!) and then we were presented with the bill... 60€. Suffice to say we're going back next weekend to stay the night and use the pool also! Wonderful hospitality from the congenial family owners. Highly recommended.More
