Moved here recently at the height of Covid restrictions. Owner/Staff here have been so helpful ensuring a safe night out (outside or in) for all. As well as continuing to serve good pizzas, beer, wine, etc. I'll miss this place!

Great pizza, cosy atmosphere, local musicians, nice Guinness. Perfect, relaxed evening. We had a big table to ourselves. Loads of space. Highly recommended.

I live about 10 minutes away but only recently went to the tav for the first time. Went back with a couple of friends the end of january because we couldn't stop talking about the pizza, and thankfully I was not disappointed. Was worried I'd...remembered it better than it was, but nope, still absolutely delicious! I dont drink, but the coffee was delicious, and one of my friends tried IPA that was on special and one of the wines, she said they were very good. Already thinking of going back. Was a nice quiet place to just hang out and get food with some friends , and the staff were lovely and pleasant.More

Had a lovely few hours here last Thursday evening, fabulous pizza, and then a bluegrass band (The Whileaways) performed in the front bar. Beautiful harmonies .... all in all, a great venue - with something for everyone; the card game was revving up too. Unpretentious,...something for everyone kinda place.More

Our group recently visited Campbell's Tavern after hiking to the top of Croagh Patrick. (Don't hike the mountain barefoot) The tavern and outside picnic seating was a welcome site to our weary climbers. Many a pint of Guinness and glass of Jameson's was consumed that...afternoon. The food was great to. As tradition had it, all the Lads in our group tacked their school ID to the rafters of the ceiling. It was fun to see so many school alumni's ID's still on the ceiling, especially those we knew personally. And so, the tradition continues at Campbell's Tavern, aka Eagles Pub! AMDGMore
