We arrived at the via the chain ferry and a very pretty country lane route, which added to the enjoyment. The views stunning of both the pub and the surrounding countryside. Our Saturday lunch time visit was very enjoyable, first impressions they had a very good selection of real ales on (which is always plus). We were met by a... More

My husband and I decided to have lunch and found ourselves heading towards Reedham Ferry. It was quite quiet and warm & welcoming. Dog friendly in the bar too. A fire was lit and we got drinks while we studied the specials board. My husband had Mussel and prawn chowder with crusty bread and I had pork lion with mashed... More

Over the past few months I have used the Reedham Ferry now and again as a coffee stop whilst out cycling. Excellent coffee, muffins are good, staff friendly and helpful. And yesterday was heaven to walk into a roaring fire to warm up! Intend to return for a meal as the menu looks very interesting.

Took 35 minutes to take our order. Promised wait for food was 15 to 20 minutes. Food took 45 minutes to arrive. Two of the dishes were cold one of the other two was burnt. Nothing redeemable about this restaurant - the owner / manager was in the kitchen but wouldn't come out to speak to us or apologise for... More

Dear Familysetts, I am sorry for the wait you encountered this Sunday, it seemed that a lot of people had the idea to visit us without prior booking and we were just extremely busy. We had served over 130 meals within a short period of time, so you must understand that that kind of density can make even the most... More

I felt as if I had stepped out of the bustle of life into another world! Cosy, olde worlde pub . Spotlessly clean, very friendly, wonderful choice of food. We had far too much to eat as we could not resist the desserts board! We chatted for ages and look forward to another lunch time visit!

Dear lenbuzz, I know Mr Archer has spoken with you and apologised for Saturday night but I feel I must clarify that we do serve fresh quality produce from local suppliers (all our meats come from award winning butchers Swannington Farm to Fork) so we can be confident in our products, but regrettably that does sometimes mean we run out...
