The Dairy and cafe were smaller than expected. My husband has been involved in Biodynamic food production and enjoyed talking with the Manager. We purchased some milk and yoghurt which were beautiful and creamy. We have continued to purchase both during all our food shops whilst up here in FNQ. We stopped at Floraville ice cream in the Daintree and... More

Thanks for taking the time to post a review Kerry. The farmhouse is certainly cosy and actually served as the original Watson family home :-). It really is a beautiful part of the world with something to see (and taste!) around every corner. So glad you enjoyed the trip and our products. We hope to see you again soon. Warm... More

When we left Canopy Treehouses for Cairns David suggested we take the southern route and called out Mungalli Creek as a place to stop if we needed a snack. The three of us had the cheese sampler, a scone, and a beet tart. Turned out to be the main meal for the day. A great variety of cheeses, very tasty... More

We found it wasn't anything other than a cafe at a dairy farm. It cost over $70 for two adults and three kids. No kids menu meant they made some macaroni cheese for the kids. Adult food was reheated from frozen with a plate of packet lettuce leaves and tomato. No dairy tour or tastings. Tastings available in the cafe... More

This is worth diverting off the main road for. We had their cheese cakes at the cage and they were stunning. They use tropical fruits which makes this unique for the tourist. The cheeses are lovely and we enjoyed our cheese back at our Hotel in Cairns.

This cafe is a delightful drive off the main road and the location was lovely however when we arrived we were greeted with a quick 'I will be with you in a minute' and no smile. When the lady had finished she took our order, still with no greeting or smile. We ate our lunch and left with barely a... More

Only 3km of the main road. And well worth the detour. Yoghurt, icecream, cheeses and milk shakes all organic and made on the premises... Which you can watch the workers through the window. Great fun
