8 years since our last visit here,we dont eat out alot,as our family are all very good cooks and bakers,so when paying money out to eat ,it has to be good . So we took some time before choosing here, and we were pleased we did,a lovely warm atmosphere, in a busy restaurant, but service was both friendly, and attentive enough. Menu was pleasing, and well thought out,the wine list excellent with two Indian wines, which we would like to try next time. It's enough to say that the food was presented very well and the cooking was excellent,my Brill was both ample and well cooked ,as was all the food we had. So for this critical family,we were delighted that this well acclaimed restaurant actually met its deserved reputation. If and when we next venture out I'm sure it will be back here, brilliant. Put it on your list as highly recommended.

We stayed and dined at the Aldridge Lodge last week and felt really pampered and well looked after. The dinner was divine - beautifully presented, elaborate and, of course, very tasty. The warmth and professionalism of the service was memorable. We stayed one night in the comfortable and spotless rooms of the lodge and, after a lavish and delicious breakfast, we left, already planning our return to this lovely Wexford jewel.

Absolutely fabulous starters and main course. The selection was impressive. We could not fault it one bit, however the deserts were below average. We got the sharing platter and it consisted of candy floss, popping candy, a tartlet, mini doughnuts and ice cream all of which I suspect are straight from pallas. Our friends got the tiramisu and it was 100percent made from long life cream. The only other small criticism is the 'cocktails' which are just overpriced prosecco based, with cordial added as they don't have a full bar licence, so they don't serve after dinner usuals etc. We did have a gorgeous night and 100 percent would recommend to anyone around the area.

I really don't know why we don't go here more often instead of our current annual pilgrimage to worship proprietors Joanne and Billy. For 200 euro per couple (100 each) dinner bed and breakfast this place is better than 5 star. If u like the best of food in a private setting this is it. This place surpasses michelin star restaurants we've frequented. If u book now u might get availability in March 2022....sure that says it all! Lastly Handy walk to duncannon for morning swim b4 breakfast highly recommended

It's been a very long time since I have eaten this quality of food, with attentive service. The dinner menu offers good choices, catering for all. The quantity and quality of food is exceptional. I cannot choose between courses one better then the other ,however we were blown away with the sharing desset plate which you even facilitated for three, rather then the customary two. I am in awe of this establishment and my only disappointment is I have to wait too long for my next visit. Well done to Joanne ,Billy & your team don't change what you are doing so well. Your covid measure were managed so well, without us the customers feeling the impact.

We have dined here many times. Billy Whitty can make food talk - he is a gifted chef and ably assisted by Joanne who runs front of house and ensures each meal is a special one! It’s v hard to get in as the food is amazing and it must be the best value for money in Ireland! GO!

Have been here a few times but tonight was my first time back there since about 2 years ago due to pandemic and it was exactly how I remembered it if not even better which I taught wasn't possible, the place is just a wonderful setting and the food is most definitely Michelin star quality. Everything about this place ticks all the boxes, the restaurant itself, the staff and above all the food, and it is extremely good value for the quality u receive, its fine dining at its best. Cannot speak highly enough about this place.

Found this gem by accident and I can honestly say it was the best meal I have ever eaten . Warm welcome . My shellfish allergy was not a problem . Little teacup of soup to whet our appetites . Starters, main course and dessert were flawless and delicious. A great fusion of tastes . Extensive wine list and bar list . Also for such a fabulous meal the prices were very reasonable . Thank you We will be back and this time we will stay at your lovely place . Eva

We stayed for one night. Our dinner was exceptional , excellent starters, mains and dessert all very well prepared and served. The highlight was the breakfast the following morning. I had the full fry and it was two of everything, and again exceptionally well cooked. Joanne and Billy have a really good operation here and we will be back.

Well what a find... was recommended and took years with covid etc to get night with room and dining. From the front door opening this establishment sets high standards of welcoming. We went with our 17 year old and all of us are foodies. Rooms are well pointed with everything you need. There are only 3 rooms. Joanne and Billy have thought of everything. The meal... no words... from start to finish every taste was amazing. Black pudding with venison dish and halibut with samphire all to die for. Desserts omg we did chef special followed by most amazing cheese board. This is a place to book and return. THANK YOU JOANNE AND BILLY

Thank you for another amazing meal. It’s no wonder it’s so difficult to get a table!! Really well-priced tasting menu and the food is worthy of a Michelin star. I was also so impressed with the Covid compliance. Service was professional and friendly.

This is a gem. Excellent food, wine, accommodation and service in abundance. Hard to believe the extremely competitive value. Easy to understand why there is a waiting list to dine here. Well worth the wait.

No wonder Aldridge Lodge is booked out for weeks in advance! We managed to get a cancellation for Sunday lunch & we really hit the jackpot. Food, service, ambience was faultless from start to finish. We’ll definitely go again!
