Went with friends who have a small child, group of 5. Quick friendly service, very accommodating to make small changes to meals. All enjoyed our food & left full.

Found the proprietor very rude. Didn’t get a chance to eat there as we were greeted so rudely. Won’t be going there again.
Just stopped for a morning break. Spotted this little place. Very friendly. Immaculately clean and wonderful food. Can't rate high enough
Thank you for a very personable service today when our party of 5 dropped in for lunch today . All meals were generous and delicious. The menu was very varied. I would recommend a visit if in Duncannon.
My friend and I were travelling through Duncannon and stopped in a nearby pub for food at about 12:30 in the afternoon. As we were leaving Duncannon we spotted the Wild Rose Cafe and decided maybe to go there for a coffee later in the...day. We drove to a few places last of which was Hook Head and then said we would make our way back via Wild Rose Cafe for the coffee on the way back. It was just after 3pm when we arrived back outside the cafe and we opened the door to go in. We could see a few free tables but before we could get in the door the staff member (thinking the owner) stopped us at the door and without an 'hello' or 'can I help you' the first thing he said was 'Sorry lads I have nothing for 20mins or more' and basically closed the door in our faces. Now we were completely taken aback by this as at the very least I would have expected him to ask if we were there for food or just tea / coffee. Surely if they were that busy then tea / coffee only would not have been an issue and surely if we wanted food that it was our decision to wait the 20mins or not - especially given there were free tables. I found the whole experience to be rude and offputting and I certainly won't be going near this cafe again in the future - despite the reviews on here.More
We go here everytime we visit Duncannon, the food is always lovely, sometimes we go for breakfast and sometimes lunch but never disappointed. The staff are lovely also.
We breakfasted here twice in the week we spent in Duncannon, and enjoyed it thoroughly both times. The ladies serving were on top of their game and the place just worked well. The kitchen clearly had good people, and the whole experience just went smoothly....Hats off to them.More
Enjoyed our visits here while staying in Duncannon. It was still outdoor dining at the time of our stay so we were shown to a lovely sun terrace. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the food was lovely. Definitely would recommend!
Went for lunch here with my mum and my little girls. Staff were warm and friendly, the food was fantastic and large portions and very good value. The place was spotless as well. Will be back!
This is a wonderful cafe! The food is delicious, the deserts unexpectedly varied and scrumptious and the service warm and solicitous. To top it all up, the coffee is exquisite. This cafe enhanced our stay in Duncannon. Thank you!
Visited on a busy sunny Sunday afternoon and received a warm welcome. Relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed the sun trap terrace and all covid regulations well in place. Very clean. Nice selection on the lunch menu and the food was good quality, fresh and good portion sizes....The prices remain reasonable at a time where others are charging extortionate prices at the moment. Best value family meal we have had since outdoor dining opened up again.More
Stopped here by chance. We hadn't booked but were shown to a table immediately. Our meal was delicious. The menu was excellent. The service was top class. Sarah was so polite and friendly. Looked after us so well.
I had a really gorgeous Seafood fettuccine here, it was delicious and it came with a side of garlic bread which can only be described as melt in the mouth. Decent sized portions & all reasonably priced.
Had a fab breakfast waffles bacon an maple syrup unreal. Excellent service, social distancing and well organised. Friendly and such relexing atmosphere. Good choice on menu an excellent value. will be back soon.
We arrived here hoping we would get a table as we had not booked one and fortunately they have one. Immediately the service was outstanding as the staff showed us to a table and made sure we were looked after. The menu had a good...selection on it and we ordered what we wanted. It was soon brought to us and it was delicious. I would recommend coming to the Wild Rose Café for lunch or even just a coffee, as the service will be the same....excellent.,More
