Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

VERY rustic, they offer a mix of starters which all are 1-2*. If you fancy chicken in curry sauce as a starter then this is a good spot for you.

Everything about this visit was amazing! We were very impressed with the food we had. It was spring, so I had the fresh pasta with young asparagus and green peas. The slow roasted pork was crunchy on the outside and oh so flavorful thanks to...the herbs it was nested with over the fire. Normally I don't enjoy eggplant, but this was so buttery in flavor, I really liked it. Definitely get the tiramisu! Thanks Carlo for introducing us to this place!More

Un welcoming, terrible tasteless food, everything was lacking flavour and salt, 30 euro per person, we had a few plates of tasteless apps, no menu is offered but you are not explained the system of the restaurant. With all adults being chefs it was a...huge disappointment when trying the food I'm shocked that people can give a great review for this restaurant. It looks nice inside but you are better off to eat at a gas station. Even a seven year old child that had water and only pasta was charged 30 euro the same as the adults for one child portion, extremely disappointed, I think they heated up the Christmas leftovers No one had coffee or dessert, 3 plates of pasta, 2 meat courses, 6 apps with enough food for 3 , 1 bottle of water, 1 bottle of terrible Prosecco Brut, when down the road an amazing bottle costs 5 euro.More

It doesn’t matter how much you eat, it’s €30 per person for the meal and non-alcoholic drinks (or maybe not charged because we asked for half sized serves). This is an old style restaurant where there’s no menu; the list is oral. One of the...younger waiters spoke good English so there was no translation problems. We had 2 serves of the antipasti for 3 diners. There were 8 seperate plates of wonderful starters. We asked for and was provided another plate of the white asparagus with eggs - May is the end of season for this vegetable. My gnocchi dish was brilliant! Each piece was pillow-soft, unlike the more chewy versions found elsewhere. The others also enjoyed their first plates. We ordered only a selection of the roasts on offer and enjoyed them. Squeeze in desserts if you can as you’re likely very full by now. This is a highly recommended restaurant.More

One of the best restaurants in the region. It’s cozy, makes you feel at your grandma’s home. The food is SUPERB and the staff is welcoming and super helpful - always with a smile in their face. Everybody loved the experience, a real Italian one....Not to miss!!More

This was my favorite restaurant during my visit to Italy. The prosciutto just melted in your mouth. The simple yet very flavorful chicken and onions dish was amazing. Also the tiramisu was the BEST I have ever had period! When I return to Italy, I...will also return here!More

We stopped here for lunch with our Airbnb hosts and I'm so glad we did. There is no traditional menu, as the food is made based on season and availability, from my understanding. As passionate lovers of food and farming we appreciated this tremendously, but...if you're an inflexible type A personality/planner who needs to know everything all the time, this probably isn't for you. If you want a genuine, down to earth experience in a quiet region of Italy, there is nothing better than this osteria. Keep in mind that if you don't speak Italian, there could be some communication issues, and things lost in translation, which I think might be why the review preceding mine is not positive (we had a similar experience but we travel a lot, and recognize that one must go with the flow from time to time and not get worked up). What you have to remember is this is not a big tourist area, therefore the likelihood that English is spoken may be more slim. You just have to go with the flow, enjoy the experience and be grateful for such a unique dining time. The food was incredible. Again, we genuinely appreciate fresh seasonable food, so we were happy with whatever we were to receive. There was a lot of food, this is definitely true, some of it served family style, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were touring with the family of the restaurenteurs, and knew them pretty intimately, so i don't think they are the type to "take advantage" of their guests, as one reviewer insisted; Again, there is no menu, not for reasons other than seasonality, not to make a few extra bucks. So let me reiterate---if you are a tourist, who needs to know every detail of your meal plans, what you will eat, how much it will cost and expect that people will speak and understand a language other than Italian without issue, you should go back to the city center and eat at a tourist restaurant with an English menu. This is for the adventureres and appreciative people who love genuity and traveling to experience other cultures. We would go back here a hundred times in a heartbeat.More

I don't recommend dining here. My wife and I feel taken advantage of. Our waiter started explaining the antipasta as a buffet of options and that we could try a few and see what we liked. 7 different dishes arrived- enough to feed 4-5. We...felt bad not eating it all... so did our best to finish the dishes we had not chosen or even ordered. We then ordered only one pasta (first plate) to split because we were not hungry anymore. When asked for a second plate- we told him we were not hungry, but obliged to split a piece of cake. Our bill was 60 euro. -- 7 dishes of assorted antipasta (we did not order.) -- 1 pasta (split between us two) -- 1 cake (split between us two) -- 1 red wine bottle We asked the waiter if we were being charged for a fix prixe menu because the bill said 2 x 30 euro- and he said no and tried to rationalize the price by itemizing the antipasta (which we never ordered all of). Clearly we were charged for a fixed price menu but were never told, and then lied to point blank (after reading other people's reviews). Very disappointed.... and regret helping the waiter by completing a survey his friend needed about tourism in the area.More

Our party of 8 arrived without reservation. The dining rooms are warm and welcoming, most of the menu is presented orally, and the house speciality is wood fired grilled pork or chicken which can be seen grilling as you enter. The grilled meats and risotto...were delicious, we ordered copious amounts of food and were not disappointed with any of it. Service was perhaps a little slow but the place was full and food came freshly made and tasty. We were on a three week tour of Italy by car and this was one of the best places we ate, and for a very reasonable price. Families are welcomed and there were several small children in other parties who seemed to be regulars.More

A wonderful gem of a restaurant with a friendly warm atmosphere and familiar ambience. Dishes included ingredients of pork that had been slow roasted over a pit of coals for 6 hours, freshly picked wild asparagus and a very moorish chocolate salami for dessert. One...of the things that impressed me the most was the fact that everything was freshly picked prepared nightly and when it had gone, It had gone!! remarkably flavorsome, very traditional, a most memorable experience. I would thoroughly recommend this charming restaurant in the heart of the Prosecco region.More

Second time I visit the Veneto region and second time I go to Antica Osteria. Still being my fauvorite. After a long trip I went directly there to have dinner and as soon as I arrived my stress went out. The attention of the family...Perenzin first and some proseco, fantastic antipasti, pasta with fresh vegetables and speck and two kinds of meat, made the perfect dinner. To end, a great variety of desserts! As I said at the beggining, Antica Osteria di Via Brandolini is a MUST!!More
