Great staff, bad food.
Stopped here for lunch after visiting castle. Place was pretty full. Staff was very friendly but looked overworked. When food came it was not that great. Lamb was old and tastless, could not cut it. Even pancakes were odd. Only fish...fillet was great, not the sides. Regret that we did not go to other place nearby.
Giving these stars to staff, thanks for service. Chef though should be changedMore
Went there as I read the good reviews however didn’t end up eating. Took a coffee and my girlfriend went up to pay, they must of heard us speaking English and thought I didn’t speak Estonian. Then with a very bad attitude said to my...girlfriends face ‘why is the girl paying for this’. I don’t know what year they live in around this place but it’s 2020 so stay quiet, make your coffees and keep your opinions to yourself. You never know who’s listening. Also the opening hours are crazy.More
This used to be a hidden gem that unfortunately has lost its magic. We had the ribs and three of us had fish and chips. Unfortunately the ribs were more like pork belly and the 3 small dough fish served with bland potatoes were rather...disappointing. Furthermore, we asked to not have onions in our salad, but were still served salad with onions. The prices for such a disappointing meal were also way too high.More
We were looking for somewhere to have a coffee on our way from Tartu to Lake Peipsi, and came across this charming roadside restaurant. Excellent coffee, and enticing snacks on the counter - tried them all. Right on noon, quite a few locals came in...for lunch, and it all looked fantastic, and the menu was intriguing. We'll be back in the area next year, and a full lunch here will be a must. Oh, and the interior is very authentic and a very comfortable place to be.More
