If you have half a day and you child is dying for a nice helping of cottage cheese with chives, look no more! Your little’s dish is served a good 25 minutes before your food starts dripping out from the kitchen— one hot dish at...a time. Oh, and their cottage cheese is served with 3 meatballs and 3 potato wedges. A perfect combo for a 4 year old, but not for 9 or 12 yr old. Priced at €9. All this sarcasm aside, it is actually embarrassing. It would have been nice to give us a heads up before ordering. What we learned is that they really don’t want the kids to come and visit. The rest of us received our dishes in two intervals, 15 mins apart. No explanation, no apology. Salad took the longest to cook, apparently. We learned our lesson and most certainly will not take time out of our weekend to go visit. We did give feedback to a manager upon leaving who appeared to be so occupied with counting money, so much so that she didn’t even bother making an eye contact with us as we were speaking to her. Very very poor and careless service. Luckily the Dirhami store is near by and all 4 kids we able to get a snack afterwards. Buyer beware.More

This restaurant offers very tasty and delicious food. We ate zander fillet with roasted vegetables. It was really recommendable. We loved it. Restaurant has a beautiful view in the port.

If you are looking for a bit more remote location with a wonderful view, friendly service, and delicious food- you may want to consider visiting this place. Located in 1,5-hour drive from Tallinn in a very picturesque area of Noa-Rootsi. On the way there take...a chance to enjoy the most Swedish part of Estonia with its beautiful beaches and forests. This cafe is located directly at the beach. May in Estonia is considered to be rather an early spring, so the weather was a bit too chilly to sit on their terrace- so we sat inside. The Interior is super simple- not pretentious and has a bit of the spirit of a sailor's house. Even though plaids are offered, you might want to have an extra pullover on for total comfort. The service was super friendly and attentive. As a food we chose a snack selection, waitress said it would be fitting also for 3 people... well for very small and unhungry 3 people, otherwise- you won't regret ordering one more portion, but again- it depends if you are planning for dessert or not. It was really rich and delicious. Selection of various fish prepared in various ways- raw, mousse, marinated, tartar, pike cutlets (!!!) those deserve a separate mentioning- they taste soo much better than they look!. In other words- was an excellent choice of a starter. As i understood Dirhami is having its own production (they are catching and preparing the fish and even sell their products in different gourmet places in Tallinn) so it was very interesting. As a main dish I selected salmon with Jerusalem artichoke puree and ebaküdoonia-cream sauce together with some grilled vegetables. Very well-made salmon- super soft and tender, not dry- just as it should be, but what was making the "music" for me was a combination of a slightly sour sauce together with mildly sweet Jerusalem artichoke puree- it was a beautiful accompaniment for a salmon and vegetables. Drink wise they offered a rather standard selection of non-alcoholic beverages with some craft lemonades like Realist. As a dessert, I had deep-fried apples with cinnamon and vanilla sauce- a classical combination, that was very good, yet I wouldn't call it a must to try. Overall a very pleasant and positive experience- the price- average Tallinn prices, portions are big and you won't leave hungry. I expect, that on a warmer summer day this place may be fully booked, so before coming make sure to book a table.More

If you are not in a hurry (service is a bit slow) the food is really great: fresh fish cooked a deliciously. We took the Tempura Cod for starter, then Salmon and fried fish. For dessert we took the marzipan and the cake. All really...good! The service, although a bit slow, was very nice.More

Bad service unfortunately, although enough waiters and not so busy, not very good food, bit pricey. Nice view at the harbour and sea.

Small seaside fish cafee. We ordered fried flounder and after a while we got dry overcocked zander. Really did not want that so informed the server about the error (first I thought we got someone elses plate), and she offered to prepare the correct meal...instead. Unfortunately we had an other appointment coming up so I asked if we can arange this later. She said that we will be compensated when we come back. So we finished the wrong meal. Then the server charged us for the wrong meal in full and it was 8 euro more expensive. Next day we came in the hope of settling and resetting. We were offered a regular coffee or a cake. I said that it does not feel fair but if the restaurant really feels this is fair then let it go like this. We took the coffee option. After a while the server also offered one vanilla ball of icecream. According to server that is more than fair. As a summary, we got the wrong fish dish, we were overcharged by 8 euro compared to our order. And were rudely compensatad by regular coffee and one bonus ball of vanilla icecream. I feel upsold and frankly rudely treated. Just want to relax on my vacation so just a little dissapointed in the greed and rudeness of the place. I have followed the place since it was just a kiosk at the beach. Rooting for them and buying the most expensive meal that I liked and now the place turned a bit arrogant with pricepoints of real fish restaurants and rude service. Anyway, I encourrage you to try them out, hope they contemplate the feedback at some time after season and make a comeback.More

We just experienced an act of kindness by Dirhami Fish Cafe which delivered a delicious dinner 15km from the restaurant as a birthday gift to my mother. They even printed the card and framed it, I'm just speechless. This is a top-level service during the...Corona time. Thank you and successful 2021.More

Always book a table, otherwise you might loose the change. We had a table for four on a rainy Sunday evening (they had full house!) and the experience was really great! We tasted each other's foods and I loved every single bite I had: ceviche,...fish plate, the carlic sauce for (carlic)bread, perch was perfectly cooked, broth of fish soup and the beef cutlet was super juicy. My boyfriend doesn't like white fish at all and he almost never orders dessert, but over there he couldn't stop eating either fish or his strawberry dessert. I didn't believe my eyes. Same with me. I'm not a dessert-person, but the strawberry panna cotta and pink semolina (???) are must! I can't wait to have them again. The food was just excellent! Same with service. Seemed very professional, good advice was given, timing was always on point, he remembered everything (also, perfectly splitted invoice). It was totally worth the extra journey while driving from Pärnu to Tallinn. I would definitely recommend and will spread the word!More

We arrived around 19:00 hours and we got a table for two. It was dark outside and stormy weather. Inside was a cosy atmosphere. The service was outstanding. The fish platter was great as starter. They ran out of the wine we had chosen; no...problem we got an alternative which was twice as expensive, but we had to pay the price of the wine of our choice. The food was great. There is an terras outside, but during autumn and winter is is better to sit inside. Next time when we are in Dirhami we will visit this restaurant for sure again.More

Dirhami Kalakohvik is not fancy, it is not big, it is not complicated. And this is it’s charm. The menu was super short - two starters, two or three main, and two desserts. This is all you need as the food is superb! We had...a selection of smoked fish and fish roe as starter - the Black bread that came with the delicious fish melted in your mouth! As main we had perch and lemon sauce. Pure heaven with small potatoes. Nice short winelist has what you need. The patio lets you see the dunes and the sea. I strongly recommend to make the trip to Dirhami!More
