The food looks great, very nice looking cake, We had tea, cappuccino & Hot chocolate to takeaway The drinks where about £2.80 each, so about average prices. ok for a snake or something but not a main meal.

The coffee is somewhat reasonable but the atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. No music at the background, which is nice.

This place has been always busy somehow. I suppose this is just next to the main gate to Kew Gardens and adjunct to a gift shop so it is hard to find a table on a weekend. If the weather permits, there are tables outside to enjoy the view and atmosphere. Be alert for queue.

After several hours in the gardens, my friend and I chose to eat at this cafe before our very long journey home simply because it was nearest to the gate at which our coach was to collect us. It was really busy inside. We were a bit confused by the dual queuing system, which at one point became a triple... More

There is so much to see at Kew Gardens that you need a few refreshment breaks along the way. We had lunch here - substantial fresh sandwiches, handmade pies and sausage rolls along with a good selection of cakes and pastries. It's self-service and, for the number of people there at lunchtime, service was pretty quick and we managed to... More

The Air Con wasn't working although there was a unit above where we sat. The snack food was good but very expensive. Clearly not designed for the number of people using it. It was crowded at the till and no clear indication which way people should queue.

Being a member of Kew, there is at the moment a facility to visit before the general public, we did this recently and went straight to the cafe for a coffee,it was without doubt one of the best coffees I have ever had in London, the barista was really pleasant and chatty, which he is probably too busy for, later.... We stopped here for a coffee and promptly bought a sausage roll and a scone cream tea - we share as this was a light snack to refuel before setting off again - the sausage roll was thick with meat, pastry a little undercooked but it tasted good, scone was fresh and still warm probably one of the best I... We stopped over for afternoon tiffin while spending a day in the gardens. Bar staff were lively young people, chatty (amongst themselves) but giving the customers only the perfunctory glance. Coffee is good with the slight letdown of being served in paper cups. We tried a piece of a large sandwich-style filled loaf (vegetarians appreciated the flavours) and a yummy... More

We had breakfast (croissant, cappuccino) and tea here (so-called Cream Tea). The croissant was pretty average, the coffee in a paper cup. The Cream Tea had tiny tubs of jam and clotted cream - not really satisfactory, considering how much you pay.
